I'll tell you. A very average bodybuilder.. With them you have a very unsymmetrical bodybuilder.

Also they are in different poses in that pic.

arnold's delts bis, tris, and pecs are all bigger and fuller than ronnies in that comparison. Their lats are around the same size, then ronnie is bigger everywhere else.

Better biceps, better chest, better midsection, better serratus, better calves, no worse than Ronnie in terms of lats....

Honestly - if Arnie ate what Ronnie ate, and was happy to develop a disgustingly large gut, then Arnie would kick his ass even more.

You have to take into consideration that those pics are not really Ronnie, and Arnold standing next to one another.

In reality The only area where Arnold beat Ronnie is in chest, and calves. Ronnies arms are 24" and Arnolds were 20" So either his triceps were way way bigger, or his biceps and triceps were both larger, and his biceps are very defined. Ronnies lats are much larger than Arnolds ever were..

There is no comparison of the two. Ronnie is a few inches shorter, and has 66 bls more of muscle.

Ronnie built his physique lifting ungodly amounts of weight, and keeping a consitant diet for years. Not smoking pot, and cigars... lol Everyone who knows Ronnie says he is a great guy, generous and a perfect gentlman. Arnold used to sabatoge his oponents, and used sleezy tactics.

I guess it all comes down to who's physique you like better, that is how bodybuilding is I just cant see how anyone can say arnold is the best of all time. Even if you want to say he is better than Ronnie because of the gut.. How can you say Arnold was better than Flex wheeler?

It does look like Bill Murray in the back ground. In all honesty I have no idea who it is. It is from like 98, so it definitely isn't Branch Warren.

mass isn't always better. it's has just been the trend for the past 10 years or so...If I were a judge, I would prefer a more harmonious body...

Yeah - Ronnies personality has a lot to do with his body. I guess bragging about how someone must be smoking crack if they think they are better than him is fine - joking about that sort of shit is fine if you are a gentleman. Arnold used to psych out his opponents, sure. Thats what people do in sporting competition. If you think you are gonna lose, you will lose. Arnolds tactics weren't sleazy, they were intelligent and calculated to give him the competitive advantage.

If you want to talk about Mr Schwarzenegger smoking pot and cigars, lets talk about Ronnie using growth hormone and insulin - neither of which were even a consideration back in the 70s. Lets also talk about the superior nutrition technology that exists today.

I will say Arnie was better than Flex because Arnie had no need to shoot synthol to bring up lagging bodyparts. I will also say Arnie is far more proportional than Ronnie.

I am not of that opinion at all. Arnie was great, sure - but I think Sergio Oliva had a better physique, and I think Serge Nubret was also very hard to beat. By the same token, when someone grows to the point that they are competing at 300lb with disgustingly large midsections and legs so big that there are no visible cuts, then I do not find them pleasing to look at at all. Why is he the greatest in many peoples minds? Because of his connections, and because there seems to be this stupid emphasis on size. Despite being more proportional and more defined, Chris Dickerson or Frank Zane wouldn'd stand much of a chance today.

FYI, Vic Martinez and Troy Alves have two of the best physiques going around in my mind.

BTW - Arnie gave out this terrible advice when people were bragging about being good and asking for advice on finishing off their physiques or posing routines, or they were people asking stupid questions to appear what they knew when they were talking about when in reality they had no idea.
