| Pro Stature | What do you guys think of bodybuilding in the Olympics? I read somewhere that the IFBB tried getting into the Olympics and the Olympics said they wanted to drug test the bodybuilders themself and IFBB said they wanted the IFBB themselves to drug test them, so that's why as of now, it's not a sport in the Olympics. But what do you guys think of natural bodybuilding in the Olympics? Instead of the IFBB, maybe some of the natural ones can try to get into the Olympics. What are your opinions on this? I personally think that bodybuilding should be a sport as long as the Olympics test the athletes for drugs. It would be awesome to see bodybuilders from around the world compete. |

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Nope... no olympic bodybuilding yet, or ever. I don't think it will ever be agreed on. Also most people don't consider bodybuilding a sport.. more of an art... I think it is a mix of the two but I don't think it would be an olympic sport because it is subjective... and all other olympic sports are easy to tell the winner... You could see some Korean judges going ape shit on the Norwegians for not letting Yang win.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 38 | I vote yes because i would like to see natural guys (like EME) get a lot more exposure and this would put waaaayyyy more fans in the seats and more sponsors at natural shows wich means more money in the competitors pockets. its a win win situation! as long as the drug testing is done on every single athlete and done right! |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 69 | I don't think subjective sports (ones where the outcome is voted on my judges) should be part of the olympics. Only sports with a definitive outcome (score, speed, weight lifted, etc...).

Concerning this thread, I voted 'no' in regards to bodybuilding's current state. I think bodybuilding as an Olympic event was closer in 1970 then it is now. *EDIT: Oh, and it's nice to be back.

However, IMO it would be boring. I don't see a problem at all with the juicing, just the abuse of it. Nothing beats hard work, aesthetics, and artistic movement (which is for the most part void in today’s 'mass monstering'). A 10% edge through drugs would keep things interesting. I know, I know. It goes against all that is the Olympics. But just a thought.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 10 | No. Bodybuilding is far too subjective. At least with something like diving or gymnastics, there is a set way to do things - it's easy to pick up where someone screws up.

![]() Why would it have to be drug free? It's not like many other Olympic sports are. As soon as tests are developed for drugs, new masking agents are developed to hide those drugs.
