Somehow I seriously doubt those weights. I know for years they have questioned the weights of "official weigh ins". Also I have heard countless people say Ronnie was in the low 280's, Jay wouldn't weigh more than 265 or so, and a few others seem a bit off to me. maybe I am wrong. Also there are a few competitors that I didn't know about that isn't on this sheet. Capriese Murray isn't listed. I guess tomorrow will be the official visual weigh in

I can neither confirm, nor deny any of the weights, although most of them seem consistent from the buzz and blogs etc I am reading from those who are there.

There has been a lot of talk about how Ronnie really is 295, but with a much smaller waist... also about how much bigger Jay appears in person, and how trimmed down Markus is...

We shall see!

the weigh in's are much diff than what the other eme thread is saying for the weights of the comp....

I think the only actual weight posted in the other thread was that of Cormier's, and it is different by several pounds.. but I believe his interview was Thursday night.. and that weigh in was today.

Not sure though. Of course I have no way of verifying these things.. just posting what is "supposed to be" first hand info as I find it.

As we all know, there are lots of mind games that go on too. People sometimes post things that are biased, and sometimes deliberately post misinformation too.

By all accounts, Ronnie appears to be very big, and smaller in the waist.. Jay appears very big, and Markus is smaller than in years past.

We'll see soon!

That cannot be right AT ALL.

Peaked,

Remember that Kris turned Pro in 2003 weighing in the 190's. He was a Light Heavy.. Before that, his competition weight was actually 185!

So, that 211 probably isn't far off.

Remember, when you weigh nearly 300 lbs, you could easily drop 10-15 pounds of water in the last couple days. What these guys weigh tomorrow will be a lot different than today even.

Remember how much you dropped the last day or two?

Kris is incredibly short, but very buff. He has a lot of mass considering his size. I like him as a super darkhorse to place really high! Definitely since Lee Priest is out. He has better legs than Lee now (atleast from what I have seen pictures from a few days out)

JoJo Ntiforo posted over in the thread where the weights were originally posted, and said there was no official weigh in.

Some guy, apparently claiming to be there, went to pretty great lengths to post all that just for attention.... in the actual thread he even posted all the heights and weights in cm and kilos, and then did a conversion on each one.

What a loser, if that turns out to be truly made up.

Mayhem, ususally has some pretty reliable guys and girls over there who get scoop, first callouts, and results out pretty quickly from the shows...

Sorry for passing on misinformation.

Hey, all that matters is how they look on stage anyway.. that we'll find out tomorrow.
