MR O Wildcard Showdown...

The latter event will be called the Mr. Olympia Wildcard Showdown and is another exciting innovation by the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) and American Media Inc. (AMI), co-promoters of the Olympia Weekend.

The Wildcard Showdown constitutes a last-gasp qualifying contest for the Mr. Olympia, in which the winner not only goes forward to compete against Ronnie, Jay, Gunter and company 24 hours later but also captures the winner-takes-all cash prize of $10,000.

This eleventh hour chance to qualify for the Mr. Olympia contest underlines the IFBB/AMI's combined commitment to grow the sport and to add even more excitement and thrills to an already packed Olympia program...

Sounds like it will be fun to watch... just to see who gets to go up against Ronnie and Jay...

Yes, I was gettign ready to post this. It will be sweet. The only downfall, I can't think of many people that deserve to be in this. I am not sure who is going to compete in the bulk nutrition and the europa shows that won't qualify. Dennis James, Branch Warren, Chris cook (if he competes), Luke Wood (if he competes), shouldn't have any problems. I don't know if dugdale or henry is competing anymore this year, but they would be dumb not too. I think these 6 have a great chance in making it. Either through these two main shows or through the elimination show.

I'm still thinking about oredering the pay-per-veiw or maybe download it from a legal source...

Looks like it's building up and may be a great few days.

I always download the torrent a few days after the olympia. You can find it pretty fast on bb.com so we will post it here as soon as we find it. I would love to order it too, but most likely in football season and all, I won't have the money. We will see though =).

(I am the only guy in my crew that likes bodybuilding, all the others don't care that much)
