Default Europa 2006

1st Place Toney Freeman

2nd Place Quincy Taylor

3rd Place Johnny Jackson

I agree with the top 3 choices, but I would switch Toney and Quincy around in the order.

Art Atwood is just a huge freak. Unfortunately his symmetry is really bad imo. But what a true monster.

I was surprised to see David Fisher on stage. I didn't know he was making a comeback. He was in very good shape, just not a whole lot of muscle mass to present.

It was really a coin toss for me btwn QT and Toney.

Toney definitely has better legs, but I just thought that QT was in slightly better conditioning.

I'm happy for Toney.

Yeah Darrem was soft. Look for him sunday at the Montreal Pro. He will be tighter. What a difference a week can make. I agree with the placings.

Maybe I was being fooled by QT's drawn in face. I've never see it that drawn in before.

Agreed, I was watching it in person also and agree with the call... but it was extremely close.

There really was no question that the top spot was between Tony and Quincy. No one was even looking at the rest of the top 6 in the final comparisons.

Everyone was pretty amazed at the tremendous improvement both of these guys made, and the incredible conditioning they both displayed.

Overall, Toney had better lines, and that was really it. In the past, Toney has been marked down for symmetry issues between his upper body and lower body development, but those were not apparent on the stage at the Europa. It's pretty amazing that he was able to make that much improvement since last year.

I think it could have gone either way, but IMO overall aesthetics of the physique is what gave it to Toney over Quincy.

If these guys come into the O looking like they did at the Europa, they will both make a big run at the top 5. Darrem and Johnnie Jackson looked really good, and they weren't even close to these two guys.
