Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | That's sad news indeed. I never met Don, but I know one of his good friends and sometime training partner, Roger Bullington from Arkansas. Roger and I discussed Don's training and then, future plans, while we talked at the Junior Nationals last year. You just never know when your time is going to be up. I'm sure he will be missed. - EME Quote:

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | He was one of us old farts. He was a friend and hero of mine. http://donyoungblood.com/ He decided to cheat the reaper one more time and lost. That was his way. The last time I saw him I kidded him about his big yellow Hummer looking like a bus that the special kids ride on. I can remember him with that big ole smile. That's a good thing. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | I posted a link that to his obituary if anyone wants to send condolences on-line it gives a link. Yes, I know it doesn't mention anything about his bodybuilding accomplishments and that is the way his wife wanted it I am told. So that needs to be respected. http://www.swtimes.com/articles/2005/05/11/obituaries/ |
