Darrem along with a few others were way overlooked... The O pisses me off..

I agree. I thought Darrem looked great. Awesome physique, great lines, symmetry and balance... something that a person could strive for.. even if it's a mini version of the same look.

I would have loved to see Darrem in 5th instead of Victor.. but there was no way that was going to happen considering that the rest of the top 5 were the biggest guys on stage.

It's no wonder Troy Alves sat out. His physique would have probably been overlooked too. Hopefully he'll do the Arnold where they seem to appreciate the aesthetic physiques a little more.

I was really dissapointed with Markus, Cormier, and Kris Dim.

It looked like Markus tried to slim down and reduce his waist, but instead he just looked smaller and smooth... Granted, Markus is still big....but he appeared to have lost a lot of leg size, and even his trademark shoulders were smaller. Markus just needs to be what he is and let the judging fall where it may. He isn't going to improve his placings by coming in smaller and smooth.

Cormier was WAY off. He seriously looked about 4-5 weeks out. In the interview I saw with him in the tank top, I would have sworn he was 2 months out. He seems to have a lot of distractions in his life, or he just doesn't get up for the "O" apparently. Dissapointing to say the least.

Dim has a lot of potential, but his legs are still way overpowered by his upper body. He also just didn't look hard enough to me. With his smaller stature, he is going to have to come in totally shredded and balanced to even have a prayer of making the top 15. I wish I could have seen more of him on the PPV. The guys who didn't make the top 15 were only on stage for a few minutes in sort of a mock posedown, and the camera work wasn't too great.

Ditto with Federov. I would have like to see him Pose. I could tell he was WAY too smooth.. but I never have really gotten to see him other than in pictures. I'll have to watch the tape again and see if I can evaluate his potential a little better. He's a young guy and has plenty of time to harden up if he stays with it.

Finally, as for the Jay / Ronnie thing...

I've made my opinion pretty clear that I think Jay had the best physique on stage. But, as with all bodybuilding shows... it's very subjective and everyone has a different opinion.

This one will be talked about for a long time...... at least until next year when I'm sure there will be a new, bigger, and better controversy to discuss!

By next year.. things may be shaken up even more with the emergence of the new Asian Federation. If it truly comes to pass, the Olympia lineup could look a lot different. That's a big "If" though.

I didn't think DJ was overlooked... but that is my opinion... I thought he was a bit wide, and his conditioning wasn't 100%

Federov has so many muscle imballances he will never even crack the top 10.

He has the pec tear, one of his lats is like 3 inches higher than the other, his traps are so uneven it is pathetic,, He is all hype.. look at these pics to see what I mean.. look at his uneven lats here, and the pec tear... http://www.flexonline.com/contests/0...s/aar0144.html

look at his traps, and rhomboids how uneven... http://www.flexonline.com/contests/0...s/aar0172.html

It's Dream Tan. Usually a combination of Dream Tan #1 and #2..

One guy had it on at the Europa and he looked like he was cast out of solid gold.

I was calling him the "Golden Child" and Kendra was calling him "Oscar", as in the award statue.

We were joking that at the Olympia, Ronnie would just take him home as the Trophy!

I personally can't stand Dream Tan for my base color because it never actually dries and it gets all over everything. A lot of shows have actually banned it from being applied backstage, or sometimes from even being used at all.

I actually do use it on my underarms though because I have a hard time getting Pro Tan to stick there. Dream tan works well for that one purpose for me.
