I wanna know what he did to land himself in solitary confinement.

He's being placed into solitary, not taken out.

Here are the key paragraphs explaining the event.

"Flynn said the incident started when a man climbed a roof at the detention center and tampered with air ducts, which were in the vicinity of Titus' cell. Titus had been the subject of a prior escape investigation.

When police saw the man tampering with the air ducts, Flynn said, corrections officials feared he was trying to break Titus out of jail.

Titus had nothing to do with the incident, but authorities did not know that, and jailers performed a high-security extraction of Titus from his cell. They videotaped the procedure."

Authorities have voiced suspicions that Titus orchestrated the plot from the Clark County Detention Center, but he has not been charged.

Authorities said earlier this year that Titus approached a corrections officer and inquired about how to get a corrections uniform in what has been described as a possible escape attempt.

Flynn said all of the incidents played a role in corrections officers deciding to treat the November episode as a high-security situation.

"He's been a challenging inmate since he's been there," Flynn said. "And, for the first time ever, we detected someone trying to break into the place."

The man tampering with the air ducts ended up having nothing to do with Titus and was arrested on a vandalism charge."

Although the article says this incident happened in November, there is no indication about whether or not Titus still remains in high security holding.

Pman, I believe I've heard you say that you have worked at a prison or jail before (not sure what the difference is)... did you ever partake in events like this?

I was a Deputy Sheriff for 7 years and part of my duty included working in our county jails. I have participated in similar activities, but much less formal and rigid in terms of procedures. We never needed that many guys for an escort to the "hole".

Titus is still a big boy. He must still be getting his calories even in the cell. Still not as big as he once was of course. Kinda weird video.

Shit you'd be surprised how much prisoners get to eat. Most states require a set calorie intake for the inmates. Here in Ark. for example it's 2300 cals for sedentary inmates and 2750 cals for inmates on work release over three meals a day plus they eat chips, snack cakes, drink cokes, etc between each meal so they can easily get 3000 cals a day no problem.

I worked at a juvenile center for a few months (mostly my internship for college) and i had to throw a kid in a restraint chair.

The higher ups didnt get involved because they didnt want to fill out paper work. our chair had alot less buckles, no mask, and insted of handcuffs, we had arm rest restraints.

best part was the first kid i put in it, was about 70 lbs. and he was fighting with the other staff. i told him, make it easy and dont make me force you into it.

kid went limp noodle for me.

Jail is for those awaiting trial and havent gotten out on bail, or have been senteced to a term less than a year.

prison is for those that have been convicted to a term of 366+ days.

Not always.

Many convicted felons will only receive a county jail sentence.

burglary,
some instances of drug possession (dependent on the jurisdiction, often possession over a certain weight, based on the type of drug, is held to indicate intent to sell or distribute),
embezzlement,
grand theft,
treason,
espionage,
racketeering,
robbery,
murder,
rape
fraud.

Thats alot of crimes you think are punishable by death. Maybe you should think before speaking.
