| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Alright, everyone is getting excited about the Olympia coming up. It will be held on October 15, 2005 in Las Vegas. | Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | The only person listed that is no competing is Dexter Jackson, who withdrew a long time ago, which is sad because this year he could have done some serious damage (2nd or 3rd or 4th at worst). Here is my contender list, and odds of winning 1. Ronnie Coleman- 1:1 odds, he can only beat hisself, best bodybuilder in the world. Problem with waist. Not sure if he will be bigger or smaller than last year. 2. Jay Cutler- 3:1 odds, can only beat Ronnie if and only if Ronnie comes in soft. Coming in lighter than expected, probably because of criteria. 3. Chris Cormier- 6:1 posterboy for new criteria, Can compete with mass or aesthetics. Pictures I have seen show him to be soft. 4. Gustavo Badell- 10:1 Has the problem with the gut, but has a lot of size. Pictures so far look good. 5. Markus Ruhl- 10:1 Has the mass to compete with anyone, wide waist. New pictures show him to be right on with conditioning, and waist seems to be smaller. 6. Darrem Charles- 10:1 has 2 contest winning streak, best conditioned, among best posers in the world. 7. Gunter Schlierkamp- 15:1 Gunter mania is dead. I just don't think he has a solid chance. 8. Branch Warren- 15:1 2 contest winning streak. Among best legs in history. Very solid, awesome contest condition. 9. Lee Priest- 15:1 Awesome arms will fight for top 6. 10. Dennis James- 15:1 Huge, looked rediculous at Charlotte Pro, many people thought he won. Will come in huge and ripped and will make top 10. Oustiders: Victor Martinez (what will he look like), Kris Dim (will his legs be ready (knee injury before last years olympia), Johnnie Jackson (looked good earlier this year), Mustafa Mohammed (conditioning?), Melvin Anthony (size?), Federov (chest?), Troy Alves (size). This is my list, please give me your thoughts!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | I'd have Melvin Anthony up higher on the list...... and Johnny Jackson looked awesome at the Europa.... if he comes in looking like he did.. he'll be a potential top 10 or better.... and neither guy has a gut... Gustavo, Ruhl, and James could all potentially be counted down for their guts... if they follow through with that... ( We all know Ronnie won't be counted down regardless ) - EME

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Well aesthetics gets thrown out the window at the Olympia. Darrem looked insane last year and finished 10th. I also don't think the criteria will be in forced too much, but I could definitely be wrong. I like Melvin, but I don't think he has enough muscle.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | Yeah, I hear ya. The Olympia will be the first show will all the "big bellies" in it since the rule change was put into effect. It will be interesting to see what they do with them. Are you going to be watching in on PPV? We're having a house party for it! LOL - EME Quote:

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | There are two pics of him going around. The ones from his website make him look beastly, the ones that float around bb forums, make him look like crap. He talks about it on his website and has a movie. I will try to get the links.

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | October, 2nd 2005: Last news before Mr. Olympia contest Dear bodybuilding friends, this are the last news you will get from me before the Mr. Olympia contest. Henceforth I will not be available via email until October 22nd, because I will travel to Las Vegas very soon. My contest preparation is still going pretty well. There was no big injury or illness yet. I am 2-3 pounds heavier than last year and a look at my belt told me, that my waist got smaller. Yesterday I had my only single guest appearance within the recent constest season at a shopping mall in Germany. Since that event there are some really bad pictures of me (from www.body-xtreme.de) circulating through different internet forums. For that reason I have attached some better pictures and a video clip to this report, so you can see, that I definately do not look as those pictures show me. I hope that my contest preparation will keep on going well during the next two weeks, so that I will be able to show a great shape at the Olympia. Kind regards Markus http://www.markus-ruehl.de/uploads/pics/warmup.jpg http://www.markus-ruehl.de/uploads/pics/pose.jpg http://www.markus-ruehl.de/uploads/pics/mall.jpg These three are from the same day that those horrible pics were taken of him. Hopefully he will look like he does in these pics, but more shreaded. And about the Olympia, I am not sure if I am going to be able to get it on PPV. I will see if I have any friends interested in getting it. I am about the only IFBB fan within 50 miles here in West Virginia.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | I hope Ronnie Coleman doesn't get 1st, I personally like Jay Cutler's body 10x better... and its too bad Dexter Jackson dropped out, because I think he would have been a serious contender for 1st .... "Gustavo, Ruhl, and James could all potentially be counted down for their guts... if they follow through with that... ( We all know Ronnie won't be counted down regardless )" Its kinda sad, but they prob will give Ronnie better treatment on this new rule thats being talked about..

| Mushroom Cloud Laying.... | Jay last year had as bad as gut as anyone, plus he is structurely wide, which is good for shoulders, bad for waist.
