To me the front runners would appear to be ( in no particular order )

Lee Priest
Troy Alves
Mark Dugdale
Ahmad Hadair
David Henry

I think Troy or Lee could win this one, with Mark Dugdale, Ahmad, and David Henry battling for third...

Of course any of those other guys could sneak up there. I look for Tony Freeman to possibly have a shot at the top 5 if he comes in really sharp.

This will be a good show because all of the top competitors are "smaller" guys.
Nice to see them have a shot at a Pro victory!

I agree with everything you said, but you cannot forget about Mustafa Mohammad... he came in decent at the olympia and escaped with a 10th place finish... which beat david henry. I think he can compete with dugdale... I see Haidar, alves, priest as top 3, with mustafa as 4 battling with henry at 4 or 5, and Dugdale (unless improved), at 6.

True. I missed Mustafa's name on the list. He'll definitely be battling for a top 5 spot.

Remember that Henry beat Mustafa at the Europa last year, so I think it will be close between the two of them!

I'd love to see Troy Alves win this one.

I agree... and it depends how serious these competitors take it. Mustafa was already qualified for the Olympia at the Europa so he wasn't as dry as he was at the Olympia (still hasn't came in too dry). Depending on how serious everyone takes it, it could be up in the air between 4-6 competitors.

It will be an awesome show. There are some great competitors still in it, definitely if Lee doesn't retire!

here are some pictures of some pros a few weeks out. (the big swede, lee, troy, derik Farnsworth (natural??), etc)

By the way, there is a new mass monster all the way from Sweden, he looks like hell right now, but in his pictures from his last competition he comes in pretty good.

He is 6'0 and weighs 305 4 weeks out, should be about 285 when he walks on stage!!!!

Also bodybuilding.com is going to have a live feed from the show online! SO you can watch prejudging and finals online!!! Excellente! http://bodybuilding.com/fun/pr24.htm

Really, I'm posting this because I learned a lot about how to pose properly by watching Troy. I met him back in 2003 at a show I did where he guest posed, and I really took note of his posing style. We talked a lot about posing when we watched the Pro Men's show at the Europa together last year.

He's a great guy. I really hope he gets a win this year.

I would love to get to meet him sometime... I wasn't a fan of his at all to tell the truth until I was flipping through some of last year's MD magazines the other day and saw his pictures from the Ironman last year. I was in ahh... I couldn't believe how great he looked. I am definitely a troy alves fan!
