Default x-factor

I know that EME is a big fan of x-factor, but I was wondering what you other guys think. It isn't cheap at $45-$50 a bottle, and you need 2 bottles to do the 50 day cycle that is suggested.

So, lets hear everyone's experiences and opinions on this product...a cursory glance and EME's support for it have piqued my interest...

I like it. Granted my nutrition hasn't been 100% while on it. But my bf % is down, and my weight is a few pounds higher. It is good stuff, but make sure you are going to be dedicated while taking it. No bsing around. Also make sure to read precautions.

No, because I don't keep logs very well. I am a super busy person and never finish logs. So I did it myself. I was at about 12% bf according to a caliper (1 site on obliques), but I hold a bit more fat at the obliques. I had a clear and define 6pack and other various cuts. I would have estimated it at 9% or so. Now I am probably at about 7% or so.

Hey Ikaika,

There are a lot of summaries here in this thread over at BB.com from those of us who were in the original testing group:

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=455334

There are also a lot of pretty detailed logs in this thread:

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=409313

Hopefully that gives you some info you hadn't already seen.

- EME

Well that is true that it is expensive... you could buy one bottle and then half way through you could buy another... (well you could time it right, and maybe it wouldn't be so hard on your pocket that way).

Remember... supplements aren't miracle drugs, and a sound nutrition is vital for any supplements but definitely x factor. X factor will help you put protein to use the way that us bodybuilders want it to be used. Make sure you get your protein... or you will waste 100 bucks faster than fast.

People often think that at first glance, but when compared to the popular hormone cycles that are currently being run, and taking into account the cost of PCT and other preventative supplements people use on cycle, it actually comes out to be the same, or even less expensive over 50 days.

For example, a two month supply, even at current reduced prices, of most hormonal products will run you around $60-$80 ( sometimes more ) add to that the cost of a PCT product (~ $30) and then other preventative supplements like perfect cycle or similar indredients ( ~$30)

This alone would be $120 +

Also, keeping in mind that people often run more than one compound at once, and often use multiple products during PCT, 8 weeks use of hormonal products and 4 weeks PCT could easily cost $150 - $200

50 days of X-Factor will cost you about $100

Granted, if you don't use hormonal products this comparison may not apply, but, there are many other supplements that people use in the $40 - $50 per month range.. so it's not that expensive when put into that context.

I certainly understand that all these things add up, and you have to do what you can do. But, I really recommned giving X-Factor a try if you can swing it.

Just make sure you have the time to devote your full attention to training and eating during your cycle because X-Factor amplifies the results you get from your work. The more you put in, the more you'll get out of it.

I'm using it now along with what would normally is considered a "micro" dose of DHA. I think it is one of the best supplements out there.

X-Factor is more than worth the money IMO. Check some of the logs we got going on here. Two testers have already reported gaining weight while simultaneously loosing fat. To me, X-Factor is easily comparable to PHs.

And as for price, when you consider the efficacy of the product, it really isn't all that expensive. Fore example, a new pump product that just came out and is already popular costs $50 for 30 days worth. But you KNOW that it isn't even going to come close to providing the types of gains one will get from X-Factor.

If you need more info, there are many pages of it at BB.com. Just find a post by me over there and check the links in my sig.

I'm about half way through with my run of it, and I am loving it. I really suggest that you try it. I agree with EME, however, that you should wait to get it until you know how to set up your diet for it. It is KEY to get extra fat in and to follow the dietary guidelines posted by Aeternitatis.

you might want to rethink that. at least read up a bit on it. I believe I read somewhere that
