Default whey or amino

its a dumb question
but i wanted to ask what purpose does whey protein and amino solve
and if given choice wat should one have dat is either whey or aminos

amino acids (and whey, which is a bunch of amino acids) are the building blocks of muscle tissue. Unline other sources of protein, whey is not cooked, and thus, has a very high availability in the body. It is pure and fast dissolving. Is it needed? No.

Does it help? It certainly helps me.

As DJ stated, proteins are made of amino acids.

Whole protein > individual amino acids

Also as DJ stated, whey protein is a very complete and easily digested protein source. Whey protein will always be a better choice for daily supplementation.

Specific amino acid supplementation can be used for specific needs, but for general nutrition you should use the whey protein.

Also, different protein sources have different amino acid profiles. Just and FYI

arginine
carnitine
glutamine
tryptophan
aspartate

*these ar the most commonly supplemented. High doeses of these conditionally essential amino acids have proven to aid in extra biological functions. Personally, I use aspartate (for sleep), glutamine (for recovery) and arginine (for increased nightime nitro levels.)
