I have a few important questions about Whey Protein.

A) What is a good price for a 2, 5, or 10 pound tub of Whey?

B) Where could I find said price?

C) I think you add it to a drink (protein shakes), so what do you add it to? Milk, water, fruit smoothie, actual milkshake, etc?

D) What does it taste like? Good, bad, sour, sweet, bland, etc.

E) How long would a 2, 5, or 10 pound tub of Whey last me?

Yes, this is a cross-post, I'm trying to get the opinions of other people. On this forum, I'll get people that know about supp's, and on the Teen forum I'll get people my age that might know about supp's.

The best price that I have found for a 10 lb bag of Optimum's Whey protein is at www.************.com

With shipping its about $55

I also see that DPS has Designer Whey 5lb tubs on sale for only $22.99 a piece. (woot woot)

I buy all my supps at DPS. They are the cheapest I have found with a huge inventory with lots of choices, and great service. (no, I don't work for them) They are considerable cheaper than BB.com. (not trashing BB.com, just stating a fact.) Excelsior!

A.) A 2lber of ON's 100% whey usually costs around 15 dollars depending on where u get it 5lbers around 25 and 10lbs anywhere from 44-55 dollars

B) I usually shop at *************.com. Prices are pretty good and the service is great

C) U can add them to water, milk, or whatever. The majority mix them in water or milk. I mix mine in milk simply b/c it taste better and adds some more protein and cals.

D) I use ON's 100% whey choco mint flavor and it taste great. The reg. choco taste pretty good also. Here are some reviews of protein powders by me: http://www.ironmass.com/forums/showt...=3545#post3545

E) Depends on how much you use.

I have a LOT of whey protien left I got it from ***********.com I always by in bulk.

Otimum nutrition whey. bb.com is where i shop shipping is kinda terrible to Canada though :S things sometimes take 3-4 weeks to arrive and i paid for 2-3 day shipping... i add it to milk before w/o and water after w/o, it tastes mediocre, depends how much you use a day id say a couple months if your moderate.

me and some of the "crew members" of my lifting group have been using liquid aminos... we have found that mixing it with grape juice, and gatorade makes it taste incredible, although a bottle doesn't last long, but you can buy 2 bottles for about 11 bucks, only last ya a few weeks ago... but it taste very good, and it allows you to get rid of whey for a while.... also has a lot of essential aminos, and bodybuilding aminos (arginine, etc).
