Question What is a good multi-vitamin?

There are so many to choose from. I am looking at the AST Multi Pro 32X. I have just been taking a once a day for men vitamin, but I don't have access to those anymore right now. And I am seeing that those may not be enough. But I don't want ot just buy some expensive urine.

So what is your favorite?

Thanks,
Brian

Honestly, go to Costco and buy their Kirkland brand. You get like 500 for $10. Multi is a multi.

I usually go with "now foods brand" or AST multi

i dont think people give multis enough credit, some are MUCH better then others. and a multi is very important, i wouldn't go for the cheapest one out there since they aren't the best.

I just received my bottle of MHP-Activite Multi-Vitamins. I normally have been taking the traditional MV's but decided to try the MHP MV's. In addition to the normal MV's, MHP-Ativite is geared toward the sports minded individual and has additional ingredients to support and improve the process of absorption and utilization of proteins, carbs and fats. Further, supports the recovery process and contains an antioxidant blend. Goes for about 20 bucks for 120 tabs. However, I would prefer capsules rather than tablets but, anyway I'll give it a try.

Peace

I think most any mega vitamin will do. (Males don't need the one's with iron, we get enough and high levels can be toxic.) I take Vitamin Shoppe's Ultimate for Men. This is a two per day mega vitamin. Vitamins don't do you any good unless you have a shortage of some vitamin and minerals. Most people don't eat enough fruits/vegetables or get enough food variety, so most people will benefit from some of the vitamins and minerals in a mega vitamin.

Think of this as an insurance policy. You pay for it and don't need it some of the time (expensive urine), but when you do need it, it is there to help you.

I definatly reccomen cycling on, and off of vitamins. It is good to stop you from building up toxic levels of certain vitamins, and minerals...

I agree. I take off from lifting every 8-10 weeks for one week. That is when I cycle off of most of my supplements. That means I cycle off 5-6 times per year for one week. Good point, bubba g.

I've never cycled Multi-Vitamins. However, I'm curious to know what vitamins/minerals can be taken to toxic levels if taken as directed. The MV's I take for one do not contain Iron and I don't know for a fact that Iron or any vitamin/mineral could be elevated to toxic levels when taking a MV on a daily basis.

Peace
