For those who have used ON Whey

I am thinking of using ON Whey as it is cheaper than Syntrax and Muscle Milk which I am using now. I wanted to find out from those who have used it, how the taste of the chocolate mint and chocolate flavors are. I have tried these flavors with other companies before and have had mixed results. Thanks in advance.

Rocky road kicks ass... better than any other flavor i have had before. If you're set on getting ON go with that IMO its the best flavor they have. :bier:

Chocolate and chocolate mint are both good and I have not tried rocky road but I've heard it's good.

The double chocolate flavor is my favorite of any protein I have tried, when mixed with skim milk. I don't like it that well when mixed with water, but with Skim it is great!

vanilla is always good, i also have a bag of tropical punch, it tastes really good, iv tried their cookies and cream flavor, i tasted really bad to me

I always buy their vanilla flavor. I'm reluctant to try anything else because if I don't like it I'm stuck with it until I eat up the 5lb tub.

i hear ya, i tasted a friends tropical punch before i bought, and i tried his cookies and cream, sucks hes stuck with a 10lb bag of it

i've tried double chocolate, gold standard chocolate, and rocky road, and all of them are top notch flavors.

Thanks much folks, that should save me lots of $$. I will still have a tub of the Syntrax since it is so quick to make, but buying a 10lb bag of Chocolate along with oats should be nice

I dont mean to crash your thread but i think ON is overrated. Yeah I know I know "how dare I!" - its the unpopular answer 4 sure. I have 25lbs of Choc./Mint, Rocky Road, Cookies N Cream, Vanilla...Negatives I think they taste a little funny but def. tolerable. I think the first three have a somewhat chem./artificial taste (the ON new blend or gold standard). Positives are mixes well, taste ok, cheap and added BCAAs. In general I have found that Whey protiens alone dont taste all that good. I am more apt to get a protein blend formula (milk protein isolate, calcium caseinate, whey protein concentrate, egg white isolate protiens) Def. better quality and taste.

When I get a chance I will recommend some others from the board sponsers. I suggest trying the ON first with smallest size.

I'm with you bro. I used to always buy ON chocolate but it gave me bad gas and the taste was fake/chemical like although not horrible. I switched over to Champion Pure Whey and will never go back. They use real dutch cocoa instead of artificial flavor's and for around the same price. Yummy. :ranch:

I agree with you but I mostly just stick with ON because of the price.
