Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 199 | I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but in my 20+ years as a BB and formerly a PL, I have used a lot of supps and wasted a ton of money. Too many hopeful BBers and PLs put too much hope and emphasis into taking supps thinking that it will make a tangible difference in their results. I am here to tell you that they won't! I acknowledge that some supps are legit and do work at a very micro level, but if you never took them you would still get the same results that you are seeing without them. Just try and stop using all these supps and test what I am saying. I am not talking about such things as protein powders or carb drinks. Nor am I against things like Creatine, Multi-vitamins, BCAAs, or fat burners that actually help speed up your metabolism. The ones that are a waste of money are all the fancy pills. I'm not talking about PHs because I don't consider them a nutritional supplement. Even the supps that I would not say are a waste of ones money are only a replacement for real food. Real food is always the best way to go whenever possible. I personally use a multi and a few different protein powders that are for different times of the day. You can take all the rest of the bottled up promises and throw them in the trash with all of your money. Nothing will change your physique like real food and hard ass training. And if you're natural, a lot of time!

| Pro Stature | Supps worth buying: (excluding PH/AAS) Whey and/or cassein powder EFAs Multi Other vitamins and minerals Green tea extract or teabags Creatine Free-form sugars Certain free-form amino acids Supps worth buying IF you need them Ephedrine, caffeine, yohimbine ZMA Glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM Saw palmetto Certain free-form amino acids Sesathin Most of the rest are either completely useless, completely unnecessary, or totally uncost-effective. I say this, because your money should be being spent on quality food, training gear and the more important things in life. If you have heaps of cash or dont care, then by all means go for it, just have fun paying out your ass for a weak placebo effect at best. THE BEST SUPP OF ALL TIME??? Good food ![]()
