Creatine always makes me feel more in shape and I recovery better in between sets, and dont tire out in the gym, while I am on it.

Protein and fish oil are also important imo.

I think arginine is okay but I am using white blood and its not making a huge difference in the pump just yet...

Great thread...I'll chime in with some semi-redundant feedback:

Works:
Creatines (Trans-X and Satur8)
Leptigen Mass
Xtend
Champion Pure Whey Protein
Lean Green by Primaforce

Waste of Money:
Clout - tastes like ass and the only thing it gave me was the shits and headaches
Glutamine Powder - noticed no differences in anything when used independently
Swole V2 - gave my left nipple gyno? wtf? went away when I stopped using it (it did work otherwise, though)

I acknowledge that some supps are legit and do work at a very micro level, but if you never took them you would still get the same results that you are seeing without them. Just try and stop using all these supps and test what I am saying. I am not talking about such things as protein powders or carb drinks. Nor am I against things like Creatine, Multi-vitamins, BCAAs, or fat burners that actually help speed up your metabolism. The ones that are a waste of money are all the fancy pills. I'm not talking about PHs because I don't consider them a nutritional supplement. Even the supps that I would not say are a waste of ones money are only a replacement for real food. Real food is always the best way to go whenever possible. I personally use a multi and a few different protein powders that are for different times of the day. You can take all the rest of the bottled up promises and throw them in the trash with all of your money. Nothing will change your physique like real food and hard ass training. And if you're natural, a lot of time!

Surely, your also not talking about anything from Avantlabs are you?

Works:

Green tea pills EGCG 40%, Higher Power, i think its like 8 bux for 100 pills

AlCar- you wont notice it, but if you overdose it, like take 1/4 teaspoon real fast, youll feel a sort of focus, concentration thing near your sinuses.

Sesathin

Lecithin, i save this for DURING a high-fat meal like steak or italian food. Basically, all it does is emuslify fat, its a pretty cheap supplement id just get it at a local china town.

Cheap-ass whey, Costco quality. an extra 2g fat and 2g carb per serving is worth the 15 dollar discount. Taste is easily tolerable (chocolate)

scivation xtend only during catabolic (cutting) days.

Centrum silver, Anything produced by kirkland is pretty solid, cept their water, it tastes like shit-spring water. Its cheaper than poland springs so i get it anyway.

Creatine Monohydrate- Yeah, it works wonders on mass, but during a schoolyear, 10 urination breaks a day is unacceptable. Thank god for CEE

Sugarless, caffeine free(?) redbull. Handy for a nice preworkout boost.

Does not Work:

Liquid creatine

Vanadium

The tricky thing with this thread is that a lot of things that do work don't really seem to work, if you know what i mean. They don't really give noticable effects and therefore they could accidentally be deemed as ineffective.

Things like NAC, Green tea, Vitamin C, etc... don't usually give every noticable effects but they ARE very effective (so i've read...).

I'm not a huge supplement guy. I believe in unreal amounts of calories (6000 daily). The following are great products to aid in the nutrition aspect of it:

ON 100%
ON Glycoload
Prolab Nlarge2
Twinlab Daily One caps

All my other "supplements" aren't on the market anymore.

i say a multi is a multi. Before i started over a year ago, i did not take a multi, but depended just on regular foods, whey, and creatine for about 2 months. After i read up on the importance of a multivitamin, i just picked up this centrum at my local BJ's. There may have been other factors included, but after a couple weeks, i noticed i had more energy throughout the day, and was able to stay awake in most of my classes (i used to be one of those people that just go to class and sleep haha). sooooo in reality when i think about, i actually dont have much proof that it does work... only that i think it does... maybe i should cross it off the list... lol. w/e multi is a multi anyway.. right?

Sounds like that's proof enough. Even if it's not scientific if it makes a difference it's working period. Placebo or not.

Cool thanks, I was just curious. I didn't post a muti in the "what worked" since I really never could tell if it was working. But DarkFalcon is right, if it makes a diff. then it's working! :bigthumbu

Oh great! Thanks! Now everytime I take my serving it'll remind me of my cat! AX is bringing out an improved Perfect Cycle that coats the smell, this will help very much

Works:
BN CEE
GNC protein (can't remember exact name)
Body Fortress Whey Protein
Universal Storm/Shock Therapy, Animal Paks
AMP
Lipo-6
Dymatize Z-Force (ZMA)

Doesn't work:
Cell-Tech, can't stand grape anything after that (noticing a trend here?)
Nitro-Tech, barely noticed anything after two tubs
Universal Natural Sterol Complex (2 free bottles from a buddy, gave it a shot)

Yeah I was stupid and jumped on the MT train. Learned from my mistakes and research every product before buying.
