Free dinner and alcohol for everyone... pretty cool.. I've only drank a few times this year.. but I put some away tonight.. Kendra and I, and Robert ( aka daTRUodb ) were there, among other friends. Good time! ( probably won't be so good when I have to do legs tomorrow though )  - EME

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 51 | I work for a very big hospital... it's actually a "Health System" because we have remote clinics and other sites throughout the state. The main Hospital itself is very large. They throw a big employee party every year where they have an award reception early.. then a dinner dancing party later in the evening. This years theme was "A taste of New York" They had three restaurants cater.. there was an Italian restaurant, a Chinese, and one other.. but I didn't make it to that line. They also had Pretzel vendors setup.. with hot Pretzels.. all free. Plus they had two open bars with either beer or wine... It was cool.. they would let you take two or three drinks at a time back to your table. We had quite a spread going at our table. The hospital spent some major cash on this. They rent out the convention center, it's really a huge deal. I can't imagine how much they spent on it.. but it was nice. All hospital employees, and even contractors and volunteers are invited, and you can bring a guest. I was impressed! - EME Quote:
