Muscle Milk or Whey Protein

Can't Decide. I can get either one of them but can't get both. So which should I get and why and if you have tryed both tell me which one you perfered. Opinions ? Oh yea, how long will a 2lb of muscle milk last me and how long did it last you ?

Good question, Muscle Milk is definately a lot more expensive then a good Pure Whey. I haven't tried it simply because I don't really feel it will live up to it's own hype and justify the added cost. A lot of guys do love it though and taste wise it's supposed to be great. I'm sure more then a few guys here have tried both and can give you a good answer.

Muscle milk is a waste of money imo. You'd be better off buying whey/a blend and adding the fats of your choice.

Although I love the flavor of Muscle Milk, I wouldn't say this is the ideal formula, Whey protein (or any protein for that matter) on the otherhand can easily be mixed with oatmeal or flax oil to help bring up the overall macronutrient profile and would still cost you much less than muscle milk. So if you can only get one- get the whey protein.

I would definately go with a 5 lb jug of whey over a 2 lb jug of Muscle Milk. Regular Whey will last you alot longer than the Muscle Milk will. Your best bet is to purchase Dymatize Elite Whey from ***************.com it's 22.99 for a 5lb jug plus they have better flavors than Optimum Nutrition in my opinion.

:stupid:... just dont buy the orange dreamsicle... I thought i liked the taste of orange creamsicle but... i dont think i'll be able to finish this...you might like it though... :excorcist

Orange Dreamsicle is good in my opinion, so is the Pina Colada and Butter Cream Toffee .. although some tend to dislike the latter .. but I think it's good

Its not that its bad... imo it tastes a lot better mixed with milk... but i like using water... and its just not a taste i could drink everyday... but to each his own :bier:

Personally, I would go for the whey, I can use it pre and post workout without any problems. Plus it's less expensive.

Mega Milk is a less expensive alternative to Muscle Milk, and it appears to be very similar. You can get a 5 pound jug for $30.99 at SK. I'm planning on ordering when I get home later today.

Bro I'm in Edmonton and shipping and customs are nothing. Five bucks US for shipping and you won't pay customs on such a small value. I have been buying supps from the states for over 3 years and no one in Canada can beat the prices even with the exchange and shipping.
