multi vitamin question

im prob the only person not taking multi vitamins so i wanna go get some today or tommorrow from the vitamin store any brand better than other, take any suggestions

Mega man's Centrum I guess the list goes on. I prefer anything liquid or gel caps. I stay away from any pill that is solid.

For average lifter:
Any Multivitamin it doesnt matter all that much. Just compare labels. I would go with a no name brand otherwise you will pay more just for the name and get the same quality.

um i stopped by savons and got centrum performance multi vitamin has allot of good stuff in it, comes with ginseng too, what you gus think of that?

Can you explain why? I've never tried a liquid/gel multi, always the chalky tablets.

Well a gross story but a friend of mine had to fix his septic tank and has been taking supps for years and years. The top layer of the septic was filled with literally thousands of undigested pills. I do tests with liquids. If it won't dissolve in water overnight then I won't take it.

thats intresting jay, so I'm assuming then that a solid chalky multi-v isnt digested, so go with a gel/liquidcap then? I'm just about out (about a month left) and I need one w/o iron so I can up it to 2 a day.

Interesting...I'll try that with my AST Multi Pro 32X's tonight and see what happens. If any of you guys who take other brands are willing to try it out and post up your results, I'm sure we'd all be interested in what happens.

I don't know if you were referring to all solid pills 'cause if you were I really dont undertand. Are you saying that his system didn't digest the pills and he ended up @%$#% them out and then they ended up in the septic tank, because if thats true then I have to be different, because I take the Universal Animal Pak every day and each serving has around 11 pills and I never noticed @*&%$% anything into the toilet. And also, Im pretty much sure the acids in our stomach work much more effectively into breaking stuff down than water does. That's how I see it, but I might be wrong.

Absolutely, you can't compare a water solution to stomach acid. That's like putting an elementry school football team against the Falcons! And liquid or not any excess vitamin your body does not need will be excreted in your urine.

He didn't notice it in his toilet either but they are there. Sit the pill in a bottle of coke then and see if it works. It's just a personal preference really but there are studies showing that some types of hard pills do not get digested.

There's a difference between excess not being used and the pill not being digested. If your undigested pills go through your kidneys then you must have a fire hose for a pecker
