Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 299 | Basically Thermo's work by increasing your body's core temp. In order to increase ones temp the body burns more cals. I don't think it improves fat metabolization. I may be wrong. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 214 | Thermogenics increase your basal caloric expenditure, and in doing so create a larger caloric deficit when you're cutting. They don't necessarily target fat, but the reason you drop fat when you use them is a simple caloric deficit.

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | some of the "new" generation fat burners "target" fat and release it into the blood stream, but the main purpose of all of them is to increase temp.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 70 | Well, I was thinking: If all they do is basically up your body temp. coulden't I do that naturally? I mean wear a hoodie all day, drink my hot green tea, basically run a hell house, and be hot all the time. I don't know, I had it so I could explain this all better, but hell, I'm 16 so whatever ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 214 | You're describing something different than what thermogenics do. Thermos cause your body to generate excess heat by way of burning more calories. What you described is trapping heat you normally generate in the hopes of that causing more calories to be burned as a result, which is not the case.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 7 | Yeah you will do nothing but dehydrate yourself and sweat your brains out with that idea. I have mentioned them before and have tried them and they work great, thermo cuts from optimum work great and dont give you that crash....I always throw in green tea extract which worked great when i dieted for Jr Nationals in 2005, Lean Tea Complex carries that and other blends of tea and they have lots of antioxidants. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 214 | You shouldn't be worrying about thermos at 16. You need to learn to manipulate your body through diet and training before you can start with the supplements. If you don't know how to diet you can take all the thermos in the world and you still won't get shredded.
