Inconsistency of flavor between 5lb tub and 10lb bag of ON whey?

This is the second time I bought a 10lb bag of ON whey.... and I've experienced this both times. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced it....

... but it seems as though the 5lb tubs of ON whey have a better flavor than the 10lb bags. The flavor is just.... different ever so slightly. I don't know if it's the age of the 10lb bags or what?

The first time it happened it was the ON double chocolate. The flavor was really lacking compared to the multiple 5lb tubs i had eaten before hand. Now the same exact thing happened with the gold standard rocky road flavor. Don't get me wrong, it's still good. It's just not as good.

I've actually never bought Chocolate 5 lbers. If I get a 5 lb it's either Chocolate Mint or Rocky Road.

Never happened to me, and before I became a Substance abuser I bought ON regularly, 5 lbs and 10.
