It's debatable but instead of speaking from theory I'll speak from experience. I found taking BCAA during my workout did make a difference in muscle growth over a 1 month period. I'm was convinced enough to buy a 2kg tub.

I've had both great pre and post workout nutrition for a long time.

Keeping that in mind when I added BCAAs during my workout in the past few months, my muscle soreness is waaaay down. Especially legs. Muscle growth though? Hard to tell.

I too added BCAA's during WO and definately love it. I use MRM BCAA+G and seems to work well for me. I think you will be pleased by adding them.

BCAA's are amazing.. I actually take 40gs BCAA, 10g Leucine, 60g Glutamine daily.. The highest dose of each is PWO..

damn 60 grams of glutamine is insane. I have only heard of more being taken once, and that is by Luke Wood *IFBB PRO*... he took like 80-100 grams a day I do believe when he had the flu.

Glutamine also feeds intestinal flora (good bacteria), which is the pathway to enhanced immune response..

Right now I'm mega-dosing Leucine with extra BCAA's, may add CEE to that soon..

I am taking Purple Wraath . I like their White blood and was told that BCAA taste horrible so figured since just going to take it while working out will take something that taste okay.

I am happy with it and thought this BCAA stuff was all hype but must say pretty good doesnt hinder my white blood either in any way .

Better recovery, plus Leucine helps with protein synthesis..

Hey BP, long time since Ive been on, but I saw you posting about leucine and wanted to ask your opinion. I messed up and bought leukic before I saw that you could buy actual leucine powder so Im taking 6 of them after every workout. On the bottle it says to take them immediately before working out, but I read somewhere else its best to take leucine immediately after workout. I figured you could give me a scientific reason why its better to take it before rather than after. Thanks for the help man.

Hooah!

Basically, taking the Leukic before would help with endurance, after it would help start up protein synthesis.. I got afew bottles for free awhile back and used one.. Took 6 preworkout for a week, 6 postworkout the second.. Got more reps when I took it pre (endurance) and recovered faster post..

I like the powder 'cause it's not 12 horsepills, and it's cheap..
