Default I am looking for a new casein protein

Hey guys and gals! I am looking to try a new micellar casein protein for my before bed shake. I typically use Muscle Milk and freaking love the taste but I want to try something with less fat content. What caseins have you used that does not taste like a dirty toilet seat?

TP.com's calcium caseinate is decent with BSL chocolate. Not great, but managable.

xtreme formulations ultra peptide is very yummy. if you're cheap like me you could make a mix over at true protein. right now i'm using 60% MPI, 20% wpc, and 20% egg white.

The lean lipids contained in Muscle Milk are actually designed to enhance fat burning/loss. The saturated fats are actually just MCTs, which aren't readily stored as bodyfat, but rather burned for energy.

What Is MCT?

MCT simply stands for medium chain triglycerides, as opposed to long chain triglycerides (LCT), which are found in most foods. MCT is comprised of primarily caprylic and capric fatty acids, and is a light-yellow, odorless, translucent liquid at room temperature. MCT oil occurs naturally in coconut oil and other foods. Supplementation with MCT oil began as a fat source to help treat diseases such as cystic fibrosis, obesity, and fat malabsorption. It has also been used to add calories to infant, and certain other formulas. Recently, athletes, bodybuilders, and diet gurus have jumped on the MCT bandwagon, embracing its fat burning and energy sustaining powers.

Default Prosource's NytroPlex - GF

Check this out, I don't have any experience with this particular product but I am a huge fan of their Nytrowhey Extreme, and anything with their logo I highly trust and recommend...

Nytroplex-GF:

Full-Spectrum Triple-Protein Blend Drives Extreme Anabolism for More Than 7 hours!
Researchers have just recently figured out the critical roles different protein sources play in the muscle-building equation. For example, whey isolate is well recognized as the ultimate pre- and post-workout protein supplement thanks to its superior biological value and rapid absorption rate, which is important to fuel anabolism during the critical window of growth opportunity opened by intense training. But for other times of the day, maximum muscle growth depends heavily on having a steady supply of protein, which is more easily achieved using a precise blend of the three best anabolic protein sources.

NytroPlex is specifically designed to be a long- acting protein fuel source for times when frequent supplementation with fast-acting whey proteins is not possible, such as during the workday. It is also ideal for use as a night-time protein, so that muscles can be flooded with a steady supply of critical anabolic amino acids?all night long. NytroPlex is unique in that it was formulated using the industry's absolute HIGHEST GRADE sources of whey isolate, egg albumin and micellar casein.

One key aspect that sets NytroPlex apart from virtually all other time-release protein blends is that it contains no whey protein concentrate or lower-grade proteins of any kind. In contrast, most similar products are made up predominantly of low-grade whey concentrate and calcium caseinates, two inferior protein sources, while containing only trace amounts of the high-grade, high-biological-value proteins contained in NytroPlex. Though there are many forms of casein, the processing methods associated with each one can significantly impact the efficacy of the protein. Some processes include the application of heat and/or acids, which denature the protein to some degree. Instead, NytroPlex contains a micellar casein that is processed via microfiltration that yields a product in its purest, most undenatured form. This particularly pure form of casein also contains higher amounts of bioactive peptides, such as glycomacropeptides. Additionally, it provides higher levels of BCAAs and arginine than lesser grade caseinates and cheaper whey concentrates.

The key to a great tasting product is the quality of the proteins used. In fact, it is the superior-quality, pharmaceutical-grade whey isolates in ProSource's flagship NytroWhey proteins that give them their incredibly smooth and clean taste. And as a result of NytroPlex's superior quality, it is so pure and clean that it delivers truly extraordinary taste as well.

Cost:$41.95 for 4.4 pounds

Pride Nutrition RESPECT

It's a blend of CFM Whey Isolate, Egg White, and Micellar Casein with digestive enzymes and flax added. Each serving has 11 grams of Glutamine and tastes pretty damn good aswell.
