Default Glutamine pre workout ?

Hello

Anyone trye glutamine pre workout ? Does it make a difference pre/post ?

I would think pre might be better but know most prefer it post not sure why.

glutamine wont do much for you. if i were you id spend that money on more food..

It's not a bad supplement, but to get it's benefits, I feel you have to ingest many grams of it... I would suggest it post for recovery

imo, postworkout is better. i also mix about 10 grams in with my during-workout drink

Okay thanks will try it post workout. I do know many dont like it consider it a waste and some like it alot so figured would try it.

Not true. But glutamine isn't for muscle growth, which a lot of people think it's for. It helps the immune system, and other benefits.

the difference will be so small you wont notice it anyway. spend your cash on some steak, youll get the same benefits and even more. just plain whey will do too.

the text file has plenty of studies proving it isnt effective. if anyone would notice a difference while on it, then theyd get the same results from whey/food

For me, the main reason I use glutamine is to aid in recovery. I take it post workout - about 20 grams.

I dont get into the whole glutamine debate, I just know it works for me in terms of helping me recover quicker.

Hey CD you also have a thread about BCAA's. I use a product that combines BCAA's & Glutamine by MRM. Might save you a few pennies.
