Default Does My Situation Require Creatine?

So, for the next 4 months (hopefully less) I'll be doing an... odd.. routine due to a RC injury.

D1 - Heavy Legs/Cardio
D2 - Cardio/Abs
D3 - High Rep Legs/Cardio
D4 - Cardio/Abs
D5 - Heavy Legs/Cardio
D6 - OFF
D7 - OFF

The exercises I can do right now:
Leg Press
Leg Curls
Leg Extensions
Calf Work

NO SQUATS/DLs due to shoulder, can't bear weight on it.

I'm cutting for the next 80 or so pounds *twiddle* Diet is a CKD with a carbup (VERY CLEAN) every 2 weeks.

My question is this, with a routine like this should I take creatine right now?

Thanks guys,
Josh

IMHO only use creatine on the carb up days (3-4 x's a day). However, since bulk creatine is so cheap it really doesnt matter.

I do believe from personal experience and literature that creatine is ineffective while carb depleting or calorie restrictioned diet.

Try both and see what works for you.

it is my opinion that creatine is MORE important when cutting than it is when bulking.

obviously bulking is more effective with creatine, but when you cut, you are essentially depriving your body of what it wants. And when it decides something needs to go, it gets rid of what uses calories. Case in point: muscle tissue.

In order to minimize the break down of muscle tissue, and increase muscular hydration i believe creatine should be used during a cut as well.

yeah creatine is not going to do much for you while carb depleted bro. And you are going to be VERY carb depleted in your legs. I would be amazed if you were able to handle another heavy leg workout w/o a carb up inbetween. When I'm doing CKD Once i work a body part... that's it, it's shot until carb up.

Good luck regardless of what you do. That injury really sucks

How about adding some light strict arm work? I know I was able to do curls and cable push downs as long as my elbows were tucked tight against my sides.
