Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | I would like to hear any feedback you have on A few BSN products. I am new here so I may have missed a post somewhere that covered this. To be honest there is a lot of info here and I have not found it yet so I thought I would ask. Here is a quick intro to my workout. I am taking Nitrix, NO-Xplode and Cellmass. Other than those I am taking Champion Whey Protein but that’s it. I work out 5 days a week. I run 1 mile for warm up and hit the weights with a light sweat. I am working every group twice a week and so far am liking the results. I keep a workout log to be sure I am always pushing my self but never sacrifice form for weight. I have a friend that swears by the BSN Mass Stack listed above. He looks like he knows what he is talking about, which is why I made the investment. I have been on it for about 6 weeks and here are my thoughts. NO-Xplode: Love it don’t want to workout with out it. The energy and focus I love. It may also be helping with recovery as advertised. Cellmass: Seems to be working as far as I can tell. I love that it does not upset my stomach and that you take it only on work out days. Nitrix: Wondering why I am taking it. Unlike the NO-X I can’t say I feel or see it working. I do get a crazy pump during my work out and for about an hour after but then again the NO-X says it does that too. I am thinking I may stop taking it after this dose and keep the other stuff to see if there is a difference. Well there it is my first novel, what do you think? Thanx in advance for any helpful input. |

CellMass - Good creatine product but overpriced. NO-Xplode - Good Pre-Workout/Energy drink for awhile. I eventually got used to the stims in it. Again overpriced. Nitrix - Good NO product if you like them, I personally don't see/feel enough change to purchase this. Again overpriced. There are many alternatives out there to save you money that have the same or even superior ingrdients. Bottom line - If it works for you keep it. If you can't feel Nitrix working, ditch it. Good luck bro.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Thanx Spaceclown. I realize that supps affect different people in different ways. Knowing this I understand that the only thing you can do is try it and see how it works for you. I noticed that you liked NO-X and Cellmass at one time but found a cheaper alternative. So let me add this to my question. 1. If you tried these products, how did you like them? 2. If replaced these products with an alternative what was it and why? I can’t afford to test every product out there, so by asking about your past experiences it gives me a good jump off spot. I think this will be my last bottle of Nitrix, but I am willing to look into improving my Creatine if it means a lower cost for equal or greater results. |

2. Here is a little list of replacements NO-Xplode - try Met-RX Amped or Dymatize Energized Xpand, there are many others. Amped tastes great but Xpand is kinds dull, but cheap. CellMass - Try straight generic Mono and save an ass load, Xceed, there are so many others. Xceed is my next choice. The Designer Supps guys are great support on the boards. I currently take Energized Xpand pre-workout and sip generic Mono while I workout.

| Pro Stature | Jakl: You may also want to check out the progress spaceclown is making on the NHA stack in his signature. It may be something you want to try. Or you can check out the log in my signature as another alternative. Lots and lots of supplements out there, so experimentation and asking around is about the only way to solve this puzzle.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Ok I asked the question, so I guess I should report on my progress with the BSN Mass Stack. I am nearing the end of the NO-Xplode and Nitrix; in fact I bet I run out mid next week or so. The CellMass last much longer so I will keep using that. I have decided to cycle off both the NO-X and the Nitrix to compare to the results I will discuss below. Here are my thoughts on my progress. · Starting out. · When I started out I noticed the NO-X had me cranked up and ready to go to work. · The NO-X also encouraged (strongly) a bowel movement about 20 min after taking it. I was ok with that, but sometimes the urgency was inconvenient. · In the beginning I am not sure what the Nitrix is suppose to do and really I feel nothing. The only thing I thought was happening was a stiffing of my arm joint on the inside. Hard to explain but it seemed to be worse about 40 min after taking the Nitrix. · I push really hard anyway, but my lifts did start go up. I started logging bigger numbers and getting close to my personal bests in my book. · Mid month. · The NO-X is still kickin. · I am starting to see and feel great pumps. · I am very focused in the gym, and love going. · My lifts are getting big (for little old me) and I am excited to see some personal bests show up in my log. · Nearing the end of 4 weeks on the stack · The NO-X is still good, but did start lacking a bit the end of this week. Not sure if that is because I have been pushing my self so hard or if I am getting use to the NO-X. · I had some amazing workouts. I logged allot of personal bests. · IMO I am bigger than I have ever been. I am also leaning up but still gaining weight. I like the results so far. · I also had pumps that I could not believe. It hurt so good if you know what I mean. My biceps would just get crazy pumped. Ok one thing you need to know is that while I started this BSN stack I also increased my reps from 10 to 15 for each set. So I am torn between believing that the Nitrix gave me huge pumps or the extra reps was finally engaging those slow twitch fibers I have been neglecting. I always thought that 8-10 reps were for packing on muscle and 15-25 was for cutting. But I feel like I got a much better workout at 15 reps than I did at 10. So now when this stuff runs out I am going to just do the CellMass and Protein. I want to see if I get these crazy pumps because I am an animal in the gym or because the NO-X and the Nitrix turn me into an animal. At any rate, I am very pleased with my progress in a short 4-week timeframe. Now if I can just keep this up all summer…. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 3 | hey Jakl, did you happen to notice any lethargy the day after your workout day? I workout M-W-F and I have noticed since I started taking no-xplode that im really dragging ass in the mornings the day after my workouts. It almost feels like my body is "crashing" and im attributing this to the stims in the no-xplode. Anyone got any ideas on this? I may be way off |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | Ok this has kinda turned into a review for the Mass Stack so if the mods want to move it, feel free. I have been off the Mass Stack for about 6 workouts now. I am taking nothing but Cellmass (creatine) and Protein. Here is what I noticed. · The ramp up to workout was a lot better on the NO-X and I did feel like I could push harder longer. · I am still pushing the same weight and I am still moving up too, but I did feel stronger on the NO-X. · The Nitrix must have worked for pumps. The last 3 weeks on the stack I was tight all the time. I was not sure if that was just because my work out was rockin at the moment or if it was the Nitrix. I can say now it was the Nitrix because my workout still rocks but I don’t have the same tightness all day like I did on the Nitrix. So the conclusion is that it did seem to work. The pumps were nice with Nitrix, but it seemed more like an appearance thing than a training aid. The NO-X worked great once you get around the urgent bowel movement 20 min after taking it. I don’t know enough about different creatines to say if Cellmass was better or not. It worked like any creatine I have ever tried but it taste allot better. I am about to take a different stack but I would take this one again for another cycle. |
