They have added BCAA's to the mix and the 200mg of caffeine hits really smooth with no jitters. I can say without a doubt that it really does help you focus and get into whatever you are doing. I use it for the gym in the mornings, but really rely on it for those long afternoons when I may have had a bigger lunch than I had planned. It save me from the "afternoon drowsies" in a big way. I will only use a single scoop because of the maltodextrin content. I KNOW it says 0 sugar, but Maltodextrin IS a sugar and it DOES knock me the hell out if I ingest too much. That aside, this is an awesome supplement. I give it 4.5 out of 5. Drop this into the $20 something range and it gets the full 5 out of 5. the woo's review--- I had been up since 5.00am and by the time i finished work at 6.00pm i really wasnt in the mood to hit the gym at all,well at least until i got home and found that my supps had arrived.Must admit i was wary of taking the STEELEDGE tonight as i had to be up again at 5.00 and remembered the warning of sleeplessness if taken late at night but i just couldnt resist giving it a try i took my usual scoop of whey and 10-15g of dextrose about an hour before i went to gym and took half scoop of steeledge and 3 IXL 20 mins before,almost instantly i felt energised and by the time i had made it to the gym couldnt wait to start my workout. Started of with some widegrip pullups 6 sets 10,10,8,8,6,6 reps and it felt easy today the stuff gave me an insant boost in energy and focus.I continued to sip on the other half scoop during my workout and the prickling from the IXL kicked in right after the pullups(started to sweat more than normal aswell)other exercises today were lat pulldowns 6x10,10,8,8,5,6 high rows 6x12,12,10,8,6,6 was pumped at this point but thirsty for more so threw in some t-bar rows 6x10,10,8,8,8,6 then went for some light cardio 20mins on treadmill and just didnt get tired or worn out AT ALL today cant really believe it was so effective from first dose |
