was wondering if something like vitex is needed at night time

I think you mean anti-estrogen... and the answer is no.

No not at all, your only boosting your own natural test levels not adding exogenous hormones to your system.

Another "no". Trib mimics LH (luteinizing hormone) from the pituitary to signal the testes to produce testosterone. So all trib is doing, if it works at all, is giving your own system a boost. If you produce too much testosterone, your HPGA (hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad axis) will back off.
