Tuna cakes are my favorite. I mean I will eat them with red beans and rice for dinner, and think it is gormet.

Ingredients
1/2 pack of crackers
1 egg or 2
1-2 cans of tuna
Fry it for about 2-3 minutes top. Til top and bottom are golden brown.

All kinds of protein, a lot of carbs, great for bulking. We have another recipe under hwo to make protein better

I might need to try this. I'm cutting right now, trying to lose 22lbs by August 30th (2 monthes)...It might take longer but hopefully with cardio everyday, working out 3 times a week w/ Sholiz, and on a protein diet, I will make it.

22 pounds is a little much, plus may not be safe at your age. Why don't you try losing 5 pounds a month for the next 4 months. That way you would be building muscle as you are losing.

You may lose 22 lbs in 2 months, but if you are losing weight that quickly you will also be losing a fair amount of muscle. 2 lbs/week is the max that I would suggest if you are trying to maintain muscle mass.

Thats 16LBs. Whats another 6 LBs but 3 weeks? I'm eating a lot of protein, I'm not looking for EXACTLY 22lbs loss. Just to weigh in around 200-205 region.

Sounds good EME. When you say "green salad", do you mean lettuce??

Found this on another bb site:

Tuna Patty
  • 16 oz. can tuna in water
  • 4 tablespoons "EarthGrains" shredded herb dry stuffing mix
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. celery or onion
  • 1 egg white
  • Pam olive oil cooking spray
  • Pinch of any of the following: parsely, pepper or tarragon

Mix egg white and stuffing mix. Add garlic and celery or onion and spices mix in tuna thoroughly. In a large frying pan spray liberally with Pam olive oil cooking spray (egg white could cause patty to stick), press entire recipe into a patty and let "fry" on medium heat for about 6 minutes. Turn with large spatula and cook for another six minutes.

Total calories 210
39.3 grams protein
1.7 grams fat
8.2 grams carb

a lot of sites seem to have recipes for tuna patties, they don't really appeal to me tho...

Here's a good site I found for when you need a quick tuna fix.

Default My Tuna Recipe

This is probably going to sound gross, but I actually like it. Recipe is something I have for Breakfast about every week. Pretty healthy recipe, good for anytime of the day (If you like breakfast).

The Recipe
What you need: A can or two of Tuna. 8 egg whites.

I start off by cooking the eggs to well cooked. Then turn the stove to Medium heat, then drain the Tuna of water from the can and put that in the pan with the eggs. Stir around till you think the tuna is heated to your likings.
Add salt & pepper to taste.

Then just serve it all together and eat it.

Protein:
Eggs = 48g
Tuna = 14-28g
