Mmm...sounds delicious! Only problem is that I dont have unflavored whey protein. Would using flavoured whey, like cafe mocha, ruin it?

It's pretty commonly available in every supermarket in the US. Philadelphia is the name of the brand and it comes in 8 oz. blocks. I'd be suprised if you can't get it in Canada.

I haven't tried a flavored whey, but I was thinking of trying some chocolate sometime. I don't think the flavor of the whey will matter a whole heck of a lot because it gets quite diluted with all the other ingredients. Optionally, you can skip the whey all together and you only lose 5 g of protein per slice. I like the whey in it though, it adds a nice texture and a bit more fluffiness, without the whey it will be just a little bit wetter.

Oh, it's delicious bro... once in a while I'll even add those Reese's no-sugar added peanut butter cups. You take them and stick them into the cheesecake before baking so there's one pb cup in each slice... awesome.

If you want a plain cheesecake, just add another block of cream cheese instead of PB. If you do that, I suggest using that neufchatel cream cheese, which is reduced fat, but adds enough fat to make it a little more satisfying. Then add 1/4 tsp vanillla extract and a tablespoon of cinnamon... very good.

If you guys make it, let me know what you think. I actually do have a pic, as I planned to do a recipe with full color step-by-step photos, but I didn't feel like cropping them all and resizing... then uploading... I was lazy.
