Sounds pretty good as long as the whey mix isn't carb heavy. Is that mixed in milk or water?

The whey isn't carb heavy.

In water. I put ice cubes then like a cup of water. Pretty good consistency too. Kinda thicker than milk. Like a milkshake.

Try the shake! It tastes pretty good. The cottage cheese curds get blended so you don't get that puke-ish taste.

You'd still be better off with a slow aborbing casein protein mix at night. The cottage cheese covers this somewhat but whey at night will lead to fat storage. It's not going to turn you into a blimp but every bit helps so next time you buy look for a casein mix for nightime and keep the whey for your post workout shake. :snack:

This is what I have right before bed is 1 tbs natural PB and 1 cup cottage cheese.

But for you I'd keep the amounts like you stated but since you are cutting I'd agree with DF about not having the whey.

Damn, I didn't know about the whey going straight to fat at night. Good thing I only did that for 2-3 days
