You're rotator cuff is a very precious are you don't wanna damage. The idea is to avoid stress on that area at all costs, not put it under stress. You should bench press with powerlifting form, keeping your elbows in. Exercises such as cuban presses are good to work the RC but the idea is NOT to go heavy on these.

| Pro Stature | Yeh, if you're gonna be doing RC exercises, use light weight doing 10-20 reps and not even close to failure. Like Afterschock said, cuban presses are good and what I personally like to do is uprights rows to the chin, but with these, you have to use REALLY light weight. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | The only part of the rotator you really need to worry about is teres minor and infraspinatus, as these are involved with external rotation of the arm(which is rarely used). The supraspinatus is involved with laterals and overhead presses, and the subscapularis gets hit with chest and back work. Just do external rotations, either with a DB or cable for 8-10 reps, no less.

| Pro Stature | Well, by light, it's different for everyone. When I do my upright rows to the chin and use "light" weight, I use only around 20-40 lbs. but I'm weaker than most. Some people might find "light" 100-150 lbs. I meant to say is don't do low reps and go to failure on them. Like...Don't DC rest-pause a RC exercise, lol. Stay very light and get good a good stretch when there being done. |
