| Soldier In Progress | I've always thought it would be cool to own a gym, or at least have a nice home gym .. What would be an ideal in your gym? for me, all I need is a place to incline bench, pulldown (or pullup?), squat rack, power rack, and a place to deadlift. That covers most of it. Some other nice things would be standing calves, seated calf, and a bbiigg dumbell rack. A buddy of mine has been toying with the idea of buying some stuff for his home gym (just got a settlement of some kind) ... figure might be able to direct him some ideas.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | One of those new dumbbells that use a dial for the weight instead of changing plates, except I'd like one that increases in 1-2 lb. increments. An industrial strength bench, squat & power racks. Strong ventilation system. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | in all seriousness my gym really needs new dumbells. the owner owns another gym which has all brand new equipment. when that stuff starts to whither down he replaces those and replaces ours with the seconds from the other gym. we have one pair of each weight. we have no 60 lbs, we have one 65 lb dumbell. the dumbells are so shot. new benches too, now that i think of it. the incline and decline have tears in the canvas that scratch the back of your head |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Our office relocated to one of our other buildings and the office gym we have here needs more leg equipment. They only have a leg press machine that isn't plate loadable .. .. and it only goes up to 200lbs I don't even bother with it since I have a Gold's membership. I get legs in over there, plus they have all the Hammer equipment .. .. the only thing I wish my Gold's had are better rowing machines for cardio ![]() |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 6 | My ghetto-ass gym needs a power rack. I am not even asking for multiple ones, just one would be nice. Can't do very much in powerlifting without a power rack .

| SEEK & DESTROY | Well I workout in my backyard, and so far I have: power rack pull up bars dip bars plenty of free weights Dell DJ and speakers for blasting metal I suppose I would like a pair of inversion boots for doing crunches on the pullup bars. I think I'm going to order that along with some light bands for benching, and some power hooks for DB benching. Other than those, I'm good to go.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 94 | Wish they had less machines and more free weights. The gym has just about every free weight I can think of but usually not enough. And they don't have a trap bar, that's really something I'd like to use there. |
