Default Weird feeling while squatting.

I was doing parallel squats today, and after each set, my left hand got all tingly, with a "pins and needles" feeling like when your foot falls asleep, except not as dramatic. I'm thinking hand and/or neck placement on the bar/ pad was wrong. Anyone ever had this happen to them or know what it is?

I did a while back. Mostly from shoulder probs. and the heavy weight of the bar on them. So everytime I placed the bar on my shoulder...I'd get slight pain and numbing down my arm towards my elbow. Now I use a small towel as a cushion and make sure to place the bar on my traps. I still get slight discomfort but, it doesn't happen that often.

Hope you figure out what's going on?

It's not really a "pain," just like a tingly feeling after the set. Good to see someone else having similar experiences.

Don't worry, if anything that is more serious happens then tell us.

Cool Pain..

I know about pain...

Everytyme I squat, I have this painful, burning sensation in my thighs...

Usually comes after the 4th or 5th rep...

I go Ass to Grass.. and it hurts the most when I'm 1/2 to 3/4 the way up...

Any idea what's causing this???

Strange tho... When I'm doing lyke seated dumbbell curls.. my thighs don't hurt at all..

Peace..~G *D

I doubt it is an problem you have, probably just your muscles going with high intensity.

Is it like a pain were you can't walk or something, bone, joints, etc?

The bar is PROBABLY exerting pressure on some of the nerves/tendons leading from the neck to the shoulders and giving you the tingling. You were right in your assumption PROBABLY but make sure it is not happening from pressure that you create.
Find ways to not bunch everything up when you squat. Spread your arms out so the muscles and tendons in the neck don't carry all the weight of the bar on the traps when you squat. Use a pussy pad if needed.
