| Der Leutnant | Check it out! The push up and sit up events are timed for 2:00. The number of CORRECTLY performed repititions stands as your raw score. Calculate and see where you stand. The maximum is 300 (100 per events), with passing being 180 (with at least 60 in each event). Also check out the height/weight standards to see how ridiculously overweight we all are ![]() http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/apa/rc/apft.htm My best score stands at 287. 75 push ups 70 sit ups 12:14 on the 2 mile run ....ps: it's harder than you think!

| IronMass Donator | Wow. I'd only have to do 40 pushups. I think I could do this. (Yeah, I'm a geezer.) Don't think I could do full situps after doing only crunches for years. Two miles in 17 minutes? Hmmm. I think I could almost walk that since I make it that far to the beach in 20 min at a comfortable stroll. (I'm assuming just running and no 50,000,000# packs or anything.) I hate to say it but I probably should only weight 145#. ![]() Okay, got to the bottom of the weight chart and now I have to call bullshit. A woman in my age group (41) is allowed to be 36% body fat!?!? That's crazy. Let me see, I'm about 160# now at ~24-25%BF, so that's 120# LBM. If I weighed 145# at 36%BF, I'd have ~93# LBM. So to meet the Army standard (and stay at the same BF%), I'd have to get rid of 27# of LBM?!?!?! Hellz no!
