Default Post Your Favorite SuperSet ( or Giant Set )

Hey everyone,

Let's hear your favorite Supersets that you use to really crank up the intensity in your training.

One of my favorites is actually a Giant Set for Shoulders consisting of:

Front Lateral Raises
Side Lateral Raises
and Bent Over Rear Lateral Raises

This one really sets your shoulders on fire.

I use this throughout my contest prep. to really rip up my delts.

What are some of your favorites?

I don't really use supersets or giant sets normally, but I think I'm going to try your lateral giant set a try EME. It sounds like a real shoulder killer.

It's a good one man.

I go for about 8-12 reps on each exercise.. with no rest between movements.

Then I rest for about 1-2 minutes between sets, and do three total supersets.

I generally only use about 20 lb dumbbells.

By the third set, my shoulders are absolutely blowing up!

I was pressed for time during my last leg workout so I tried super-setting leg press and squats. Pumped up my legs like crazy, but the poundages suffered a lot.

-Seated Calf Raise/Seated Calf Press
-DB Side Laterals/Bent Over Rear Flys

That's about it for my supersetting. I've supersetting bent over bb rows and pullups before, it was pretty fun.

i do alot of supersets with so many different exercises so it's difficult to choose....

a tough one recently was EZ bar preacher curls and barbell skullcrushers both for 20 reps a set.
