I haven't tried in a long time but I used to be able to do 4-5 with the right. Never tried the left.

I can do about 1-3 (full motion) with an underhand drip one arm, but not with an overhand grip.

thats to be expected bulk, if you ever diet down (properly, maintaining as much muscle mass as possible) you will be amazed at your pullups then! offseason my pullup reps go down so i just go lower reps with weight added, put precontest i start nocking out 30 to 50 at a time.

Why do you say it is ineffective? What is the difference between that and adding weight to your body? Plus, you are hitting those muscles at a much different angle than regular pull-ups. I say it would be an excellent addition to your regular training, if you can do them.

That is one hell of a feat......I knew a stuntman that showed me he could do 3 ina row. He was the strongest lb/lb person that I knew of.

You are joking right? if you are serious then i will answer, that is a horrible excersise for lat width, the whole first part of the movement is throwing your hip upward then pulling with your arm, watch anyone closely who does them! matter of fact watch the video, when he does the left are he is turning almost damn near doing a t-bar row..LOL then with the right arm its just a matter of him thrusting his hips upward then pulling the rest of the way, you can not truly expand and squeeze your lats with that movement, and it is no where close to the same movement as adding weight to a two handed pullup, if its such an effective movement then name one professional ifbb or natural fed. athlete that does them as part of their routine....ahhhh i didn't think so!

No need to get all riled up man......just asked you a Q.

As for your review of the video, whatever. I'd like to see you do 1/2 of a full one armed pull-up, I'll bet that you can't even bend your elbow. If you can, post a pic and I'll shut my mouth.

Anyway, this has nothing to do with who can do what here....shoot I can't do one. But just to say that it is ineffective is being closed-minded.

Anyway, I disagree......the reason why pro's don't do them is cuz they CAN'T!

wow i really wasn't riled up at all bro, anyway again you must be joking, if i can do 50 pullups with two hands then you think that i can't do one rep with one arm.. everyone that is at my house right now is actually laughing while im typing this..LOL i never said i couldn't do it i just said that it would be just showing off, there is a guy at my gym that is a 63 year old man that can do 3 one arm... I kid you not bro, he really can, that doesn't make it easy its just something he likes doing, he does a shit load of pullups(4 sets of 20 reps) pretty good for an old man.. right now my fat ass probably might not be able to do one (i would have to try it) but i will guarantee your ass that i will do a few come precontest this summer with a lot better form than the joke of a guy on that video. back is my strongest bodypart bro, so you might not want to go issuing any challenges unless your willing to put up some $$$$ on it!!!!!!!!!
