Default Leg Drive

I can't quite understand it. All that ends up happening when I try and do it is my ass ends up coming off of the bench. What EXACTLY do you do??? Just squaaze the leg muscles hard or what?

I place my feet so that my shins are about perpendicular with the ground, maybe a little closer in, if that matters.

drive through the heels. I find it tense's my body up a ton and it helps me lift a bit more.

yeah, its more a drive towards the head, less upward. It will allow you to heave the bar. It can take ur butt off the bench, so be carefull.

i couldnt get leg drive flat footed. so i put my feet up more and my heels off the ground. def got more leg drive doing that and it gave me an arch with keeping my ass on the bench.

watch big D mans board press videos he just recently put up to see what im talking about.

Big key for me is also squeezing the bar, it helps me remember to stay tight and drive my feet.
