Default How is my form on Dumbell Rows (Video)

I did for my first time heavy DB rows last week and my middle back got really sore (more of a pain than soreness) and I think there's a chance of it being from my form. What do you guys think?

The form seems correct, just slow the negative down, IMO.

If that was your first time doing them maybe you went to heavy? Once your back feels better try starting off lighter until you feel comfortable with the movement and then work your way up.

I agree you should go a little slower, especially on the negative.

i would slow down the positive a bit and really put emphasis on the negative portion of the movement. your form looks pretty good, the only thing i noticed is that you may be bending your low back a real little bit. try to keep it perfectly straight.

if your mid/low back hurts it is most likely because you are rounding your back
