Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 5 | Yea I got the number 1. I figure my grip is stronger than the average person, but I have no real way of measuring, so I went with the #1. The projected delivery date was like May 17th or something, but it seems like they usually give you a really conservative date. Usually stuff comes sooner than they say it will. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | i agree that grip training can lead to increased size but it depends on the exercises you are doing. pinch grip and crush grip don't seem to increase size in my forearms. but support grip does. i can close the #2 with an unofficial set but my forearms are pretty small. using a combination of training style/techniques would be best. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 0 | Don't neglect wrist training. I did and I paid for it. Thor's hammer is a good exercise for that. Take an adjustable dumbell and take off one side, so it looks like a hammer (or get a sledge). Then take it and rotate it in circles. |

One exercise that really got my forearms bigger and more vascular is kind of a cheater. Take a light weight (45lbs or so) on a small barbell. An olympic barbell may be too thick for this. Modified wrist curl- 'Works hand and wrist flexion together' 1.sit down and rest your forearms on your knees with the barbell in your hands palms up. 2.Open your hands and tilt your wrists down, the barbell will roll till it is only touching the tips of your fingers. 3.Close fingers and hands and curl wrists slightly. 4.Repeate This should be done really fast, for reps of 100 and up. Work your way up to more and more reps for a month or two, then start adding weight. Then add more weight, eventually your reps will start coming down as you add more weight over the next month or two. Get down to about 30 reps with a heavy weight. At this time, you should go back to convensional forearm exercises and lift hard at reps of 10 and lower. This exercise program should pump up your forearms quite a bit, but it isn't until you go back to your conventional forearm exercises that gains in size should be 'locked in'. Don't ask me why this should work, cause I don't know. It just does for me.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 32 | I love training my forearms... Deadlyfts without straps make them burn lyke crazy, so I compare that exercyse to static holds. My forearm routine consists of : Dumbbell Hammer Curls Seated Overhand Forearm Curls - Grab the bar overhand and lift it up. Standing Behind the Back Forearm curls - Turn your back to the bar, with your palms facing away from you, grab the bar & lift your palms up toward your shoulders. Overhand Gryp Preacher Curls - Do preacher curls so at the top of the movement your palms are facing away from your face... I don't do these at the same tyme, but they could be combined since they work different parts of the forearm... I believe the preacher curls and the hammer curls work the same muscle - the brachioradialis. With training, your forearms can be strong and developed. I thynk having strong forearms automatically lead to having a strong gryp tho.. Peace..~G
