Default Eating before exercising??

What is good to eat before exercising and how many hours I have to wait to exercise after eating?
I am actually having cramps, when I eat before I go to gym. Crying or Very sad

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How much water do you drink during the day? Try whey 30-45 minutes before your workout. Try taking some magnesium for the cramps.

damn talk about irony...

from CNN: AP: The University of Florida says Dr. James Robert Cade, the inventor of Gatorade, has died at age 80.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --
Dr. Robert Cade, who invented Gatorade and sparked the multimillion dollar sports drink industry, died Tuesday of kidney failure. He was 80.

His death was announced by the University of Florida, where he and other researchers created Gatorade in 1965 to help the school's football players replace carbohydrates and electrolytes lost through sweat while playing in swamp-like heat.
