Default duck deadlifts


hi everyone!

i am always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to KILL MY QUADS....as i am sure most all of you are...just HAD to tell ya'll abou duck deadlifts!!

i recently completed a program by Joel Marion called Full Body Fat Loss ...in it he suggests using these things called duck deadlifts to really hit your quads. MAN DO THEY EVER!!

here's a pic and description , as well as the conversation about them...

TRY THEM you will SEE!!!

Look ok, I don't know how they would effect the quadriceps.

I would stick with squats, leg press, and hack squat for quads personally. I'll give this a try.

yeah they are a little weird...but try them at least ONCE...if you keep your ankles together and in the duck stance it DOES hit your quads...heheh

i never said everyone would like them...and believe me i still do my squats and stuff...but since i dont have access to a leg press machine or hack squat machine i like these as a variation on quad days sometimes.

i think romanian is the only worthwhile variation. But try this if you want, i wouldnt know

edit: oh wait, you got this exercise recommendation from a book about fat loss? i think that takes away from the credibility...

no i got it from Joel Marion's program called Full Body Fat loss...but it isnt just about fat loss silly...its just an exercise you can choose to use for the quad dominant day...

Those really look weird. I'd be affraid with the bar loaded I'd blow out my knee.

LOL...they ARE weird....but they really hit my quads in a good way...


...i just wanted to bring them to ya'lls attention...when i did them i didnt have any pain and i didnt quack like a duck until the next day when i got serious DOMS...hahaha


anyhoooo....just adding to the pot of food for thought.....i am always on the look out for new ideas
