Default Why do i gain weight at the back of my hips!

why do i gain weight around the back of my hips. I am under weight by a few pounds and the rest of my body looks skinny except my hips where all my fat is stored! does anyone know why i might gain it there?
could it be to do with what i am eating!
or maybe the time i eat..i eat more often at night and then sleep could that be a reason to why it is beeing stored there and no where else!
Thank you for your time

Genetics and previous areas of fat deposits are most likely to blame. You could just have a predisposition to storing fat in this area. My area is my obliques and even when im at a low bf% I still carry some weight here. Previously being overweight to the point you have created new fat cells and then lost weight can also be a reason. Since these fat cells don't leave but merely shrink; once you get enough then even at a low bf% you can hold on to fat to these areas.

I would think the time and what you're eating would have very little impact on where your weight is being held if you're at a healthy weight and not holding on to fat elsewhere. Do you have a wide hip structure?

Have you ever tried the Lipoderm Ultra to target that area? I've used it and add some yohimbine to it because I store it on my lower abs. Its topical so its easy to use. Stubborn fat area are frustrating.
