| FDU Devils Weightlifter | Alright, so a friend of mine in my major at school has been at the gym a few times that I've been there, and she was asking about training and is interesting in doing some weight training. So, being the awesome friend I am, I'm going to set her up with heavy compound movements such as: Press (flat/incline/decline, overhead) Rows (barbel, dumbbell, pull ups, yates) Squats (box and free and maybe front) Deadlifts (straight leg, Romanian, and regular) Abs (crunchs, situps, roman chair, ab machine) I was thinking about just doing 3 full body days a week for her, and a sample workout might be: Squats - 5x5 Straight leg deadlifts - 5x5 Flat Bench - 5x5 Barbell Row - 5x5 Abs - situps and roman chair - 3 sets of 30 and 15 respectively. any suggestions? I'd love to hear what everyone thinks before I start, I want to make it work for her :-D

| FDU Devils Weightlifter | well, she says she has some minor (thats what it seems like) back problems, I'll ask her to go more in detail with it next time I see her. I was thinking it would help out, as having a stronger muscle system back there could help it the area.
