Over the past 3 days I have been able to get my protein intake up to a decent level, but the extra calories aren't good. Have to figure where to trim.

Still don't know what I weigh. Still don't care. Will update measurements at the 2-week mark. (11/14)

Usual motivation issues persist. How can I force myself to get up earlier?

Fell way short on protein grams, but calories are good. Have to drink more water but I'm tired of having to get up every 30 min.

Biceps are killing me. Not quite crampy, not quite DOMS. As if my arm fell asleep. I'll assume it's the Melting Point, since some others had reported feeling miscellaneous cramping.

Biceps is an uncommon site of MP cramps, but it's certainly possible.

Hey Mr. uHockey. Was thinking about you last night while watching House. Yeah, I know it's not real, but still reminded me of you. At least you could have translated the "doctor speak."

Anyways. The weird feeling is gone already. It must have just been DOMS, but it's never felt like that before. I suppose it also could have been the HFR gel. I forgot about that when I first posted.

We call it jargon......we use it to make ourselves seem smarter than the average person.....it's all an illusion.

1. Need to get rid of the deli meat. Thought it would be an easy alternative, but it's not working out. Although I do love the whole wheat tortillas. Need to see what else I can stuff them with.

2. DOMS seems to be more pronounced. Doesn't really feel bad, just different. I need to search for more input on the HFR gel. First cursory search produced nothing. Don't know if it's doing all it's advertised to do, but it makes my joints feel great. I have one more sample package for next week.

3. WATER, WATER, WATER <== Total failure, only about 64oz today.

2. Cardio was rather difficult this morning. I'll have to remember not to try Tae Bo after leg day.

3. I think I did pretty good today. Weekends are usually a cheat fest. I had an uncharacteristic amount of willpower. Will it last? One more day to go. :fingersxd

@dnycc99: Hey what's up girl. Sweetie, Canadians are American! We're all one big NORTH AMERICAN family. So, when the films start rolling it's time for popcorn, drinks, and if uHockey is not looking, a box of Junior Mints. The empty box makes a cool honking noise when you blow in the end.

As far as all the females being in one place, I suppose it would be cool. I'm in this section because I asked Head Alpha GDD to move me. I felt it only fitting since I refuse to budge from 29. Nevermind what my profile says, I'm 29 dammit.

@uHockey: At least the popcorn was air-popped. With a bit of Molly McButter. Although, I'm afraid to read the label to see what chemicals are in it.

So true!! It's just that I always hear 'American' being referred to as people living in the States. (usually by people living here! hehe) so it depends on who says it and how they mean it. LoL

I tell my oldest son that he is a 'true American'...cause I was born in South America (raised at a young age in Canada), my ex (his father) is Central American and my son was born in North America (Canada)..so he has all the Americas in him. LoL


LoL@the huge honking noise. I use to do that with the Smarties box. (Smarties are sorta like the Canadian version M&M's here in the states). Good Hi GI carb (dextrose) for pre & post workouts if you like. (that's my excuse for eating them) :bigthumbu Anyways, when you're finished with it's contents you can hum yourself a little tune using the empty box. So kewl!


Anyways, I had an all American moment earlier on and pigged out on popcorn, chocolate and whatnot!! (and I didn't even watch a movie!!! :blush: ) but, I did a couple of sets of pushups just to deal with a bit of the guilt!!

I'm going to have a kick @ss lifting workout tomorrow!!

Smarties, Aerobars, and Rosebuds......plus the blue raspberry Lifesavers........all in the days before Tim Hortons was also found in America, so add on a box of maple dip timbits. Those were the days, 15 years old, traveling north to Windsor for hockey.
