Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 4 | I have wanted to start this journal for awhile now to record my progress and stay motivated. My goal: To reveal my abs. Long term goal: To gain muscle and drop bodyfat. My Stats: Age: 21 Weight: 115 pounds Bodyfat:14% Height: 5' 7" Here's a recent pic of my abs (or lack of them LoL) My Diet: I never liked restricting my diet too much, so I have decided to just eat clean, healthy foods. No processed junk/fast foods/sugar etc. I am not going to be anal about counting calories, because this is a lifestyle change and I want to be able to stick to it. I hate fad diets! They are a waste of time and money. I do occasionally have half of an italian sub, a slice of pizza, or something not considered "clean" (in small amounts). I never binge or have the urge too, because I accept that those foods aren't good for me and have lots of will power. My WorkOut: I tried to stick to a schedule for my workouts. The usual thing like Monday-legs, abs/Tuesday-cardio/blah blah blah But between work, school and other important stuff, I realized that I can't stick to a set schedule. So I make sure to go to the gym 4 times a week... Day 1- Lower body, lower back and Abs Day 2- Cardio Day 3- Upper Body and Abs Day 4- Cardio I did that routine for a month or two, then I realized that I need a better split. So I have been trying out different things to see which one I like best. So far things have been going fine. I barely ever need to have my "cheat" meals, because I feel satisfied with the healthy food. |

Breakfast 1 Slice of Whole Grain Toast with a Tbsp of Pb 1 cup of cottage cheese A banana Cup of Green Tea Snack: 1 Cup of Low Fat Yogurt 10 Almonds Meal: A Slice of pizza with homemade spaghetti sauce(with lean beef) on top. 5 Pieces of Pineapple 1 Tbsp of Kidney Beans Tiny Cup of berry juice Bleh I gotta go to work now.... ;[ No food for like 4 hours. |
