ok so today was a good day!

Meal 1: 1/2c Oats, 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites
Meal 2: Chic breast, broc
Meal 3: Grilled salmon, baked potato
Meal 4: Chic breast, salad
Pwo - 1 scoop whey, 1/4 banana blended
Meal 5: CC, 1/2tbsp PB
7.5/10

Workout: Upper Body
Barbell Curls 1x10
DB curls 2x10
Military Press 2x10
S Laterals 3x10
Pushdowns ss Tricep extentions 3x10
Bent rows 2x10
CG rows 2x10
Bench 4x10

Arms:
EHHH curls are curls, i got bored real fast with the BB so i had to switch to DBs, felt better too.

The Pushdowns where kind of hard, started with a weight of 60, got through 2 sets of that and on the 3rd set i got to rep 3 and couldn't get another out, so i dropped the weight by 10 and finshed the set, needless to say the fact that it was superset with extentions didn't help much either, i seriously thought i was going to puke!!

Shoulders:
MPs felt good, the laterals felt even better though! Got one serious pump from those laterals, got to love'em!! :bigthumbu

Back:
God i love working my back, but for some reason I never feel the pump in my back anymore, oh well i guess maybe i'll start doing t-bar rows again??

Chest:
Is it just me or does anyone else HATE working chest?? For some reason i hate it! I work my chest at the end of my routine because if i do it first thing in my routine i have ABSOLUTELY no energy to do anything else! But yeah these felt ok i guess lol

Workout rating - 6/10

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/imag/max.html <---- Maximum Pump
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/nutrex/lipo6.html <--- Lipo-6

Try big muscle groups, then small muscle groups babe... Thus thys workout should've looked lyke..

Bench
Bent Rows
Military Press
Dumbbell Flies (you need another chest exercyse.. even if you hate it!
CG rows
Side Laterals
Barbell or Dumbbell Curls
Pushdowns

*****

It's lyke.. chest, back, shoulders, chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps... or you could go chest chest, back back, shoulders shoulders, biceps, triceps ...

Otherwyse.. it's nyce to see ya back in the gym...

Oh yeah.. the fat burners... I'd wait until you were kynda consistent with your diet & workouts again before I'd take one.. but if you felt you've reached a plateau & aren't losing any weight... & you feel that everythyng else is on point.. diet, training, etc etc... then go for it..

Sounds strange for me to say that.. but I look at supplements the way I add performance parts on a car... If the ECA or ECY stack is the equivalent of ripping the engine out of a honda civic and dropping in a Nitrous V12 ... then maybe I'll just try a tune-up fyrst.. then add a new exhaust.. use higher octane gas... Do the little thyngs to make the car go faster fyrst... then go for the whole shebang later.. If that makes sense.. *D
Peace..~G

Dog, for some reason if i do the bigger groups first i have no energy for other muscle groups, i've had started experimenting before school started and i found that if i worked the little things first that it got me pumped for the bigger groups! When i was doing a 3 day split and it was back day, if i deadlifted 1st then i would be COMEPLETELY exhausted and couldn't even get out my sets for bent rows!

That just means your not totally in shape yet. You want your full strength for your larger muscle groups and compound movements otherwise your cheating yourself. If you tire yourself out with isolation movements first then half ass your heavy movements your cheating yourself out of your best gains.

Cool What Workz 4 Ya..

Well, that sounds weird... but I agree with DF on thys one..

Maybe you need to take longer rest periods after your heavy compound movements..

I move from 2:00 rest periods to 3:30 .. when I do deads & squats..

Peace..~G

Also dog, i'm not going to start taking anything for a week or two, gotta get my diet back into gear i no.

Also what excatly is all the fuss about ephedrine? I see a lot of products now that have "ephedra" and/or "ephedrine free" stamped in big bold letters on a bottle? if it helps burn fat then what's all the fuss about people wanting things ephedrine free?? I've been doing my reading and have found nothing that tells me why this [ephedrine] may be bad, i was actually going to go with the lipo-6 and stack it with ephedrine as i've read MANY great things about that stack, that and/or redline stacked with ephedrine (haven't read on redline though)

Sorry guys, i've been SOOOOO busy with school lately! Just failed an AP test, and spanish 4 is kicking my ass!, other than that my other 4 classes are great....including my accounting class that i'm in now (seems like i'm not paying attention right?? i have an A+ in the class....i think i have the right not to pay attention lol) Anyways I'M SOOOOOO PROUD of myself you guys! Workout this week was on point and my dieting has been even better. Here it is: :line:

Wednesday's Diet:
Meal 1: 1/2c oats, 1 whole egg, 2 whites
Meal 2: Salad, 1/2c CC, apple
Meal 3: Chic breast, 1c green beans, apple
Meal 4: Chic breast, strawberries
Meal 5: Chic breast, 1/2c Brown rice, 1c green beans
Meal 6: .5tbsp PB, 1/c CC

8.5/10

I don't really feel like typing my thoughts on my meals, but i will say that i LOVE my 3rd period teacher!! He lets me eat in class lol, i was sitting there just eating my salad and working on problems and then i pulled out my container of CC and he just laughed at me and said "is it good"! God i love him lol

Wednesday's Workout
Lower Body
Squats - 3x10
Extentions - 4x10*
Good Mornings - 3x10*
SLDL 2x10*
Single leg Calf Press 2x15 (each)

Squats:
Ah felt good to do these, it was hard but felt so good, moving that weight god!
Extentions:
This hurt (in a good way) my quads had already taken a beating from the weight of my squats, but i got out 3x10 for these and then did another set for the hell of it but only got out *6 reps lol

Good Mornings - Opted for these instead of Deadlifts, these actually made me feel like i was going to throw up, so thats why i only got out like *5.5 reps on my last set

SLDL - Well my hams were already pretty pumped/exhausted so couldnt manage many of these

Calf press - talk about a burn! omg these burnt so bad! haha nice and sore today though.

Sorry for the BS thoughts on my workout, but getting ready to take a test in here! Will update later!

damn long time no post.....sorry guys!
anyways i'm short on time so here is an "update"
FINALLY GOT MY DIETBACK DOWN TO A T! literaly, i'm proud of myself too! Lost about 2lbs this week!! YAY!!!!!!!

Anyways i basically just wanted to say that i'm going to switch back to a 3 days split. I feel like 4 or 5 days is too much for me, and 2 is not enough, the only split i've ever had lost of success with sticking to is a 3 days:

Monday: Back/Biceps/Shoulders
Wednesday: Chest/Triceps
Friday: Legs/Abs

I have always loved that split! I'm thinking about moving shoulders to leg day but i think i'm gonna stick with it on back day.
Anyways i think i want to do a little rant for a minute! My mother thinks i eat too much! she says "god that is just too much eating for me" (she is trying to lose weight and i told her to eat 5-6 times a day) and i go Mom i've lost 50lbs since early March, how is it too much eating? and she goes i dunno it just is!! that could never work for me anyways because i don't lift weights (she also thinks that if a women lifts weights they will INSTANTLY get all huge like men) i've tried EVERYTHING to convince her that it's genetically IMPOSSIBLE for any woman to get like that because we simply do not have the Test. to do it! She then has no argument and says i eat too much! My dad is taking ALL THESE pills trying to lose weight now too...but bell bought to ring will update on that later

ugh my stomach has been soooo upset today!! i ate a protein bar for breakfast and for 10 during school, and ever since the 1st one my stomach has been filled with gas bubbles, and has just been turning like crazy! it's hurts!!! god i got less than an hour and half of school left too!!! i swear when the bell rings i'm throwing my bookbag in my locker and running for my car!! anyways i want to continue my rant from yesterday.....

My dad:
He is back on his "trying to lose weight" kick! which is good, but i'm kind of worried about him because he gave on it last time because he couldnt lose a lb of weight and he was doing cardio almost everyday (i tried to tell him it was his diet) he would think that he could eat like 4 hot dogs, and order a thin crust pizza and then go workout and he should lose weight. He used to make up excuses and everything like "the pizza is thin crust so it's not a lot of carbs, and it's only like 1 cup of cheese on the entire pizza, so it's not the bad for you" another thing that made it so bad was that he would eat like 4 or 5 even 6 slices of pizzam then go to the gym and walk on the treadmill for like 1hr and a half and think it's all evens out! NO BUDDY but not he is eating like 2000cals, 50gs of fat, and 200g of carbs and protein. I still say his diet should be more down pack (he weighs 400lbs) and he is taking, lipo-6, nitrix, triflex, MV, and like 2 or 3 other pills! I say he should leave the lipo-6 alone for a while until his diet is down pact, which in my eyes means, set number of cals per meal etc..etc.. He only eats like 170 cals for breakfast and then for lunch he'll have like 500-700 cals, and then yeah but i'm not going to give him advice because he just thinks that i'm being a smartass AND a lot of the stuff he is doing i dont agree with! but we bump heads A LOT on this stuff because he wont listen to me, not saying i no it all, but i think i've done more reading on A LOT of this stuff than he has, and he thinks a lot of my info is wrong because i get a lot of it from boards like this, and he gets a lot of his from actual sites, so basically he thinks that u guys are just people who don't know shit and blah blah blah!! anyways i'm going to sleep now, and hope when i wake up my stomach is better!

Sounds like your in tough with convincing your dad. Most people are like that, they believe what they want instead of what works. My parents say the same, "OMG! You eat way too much your going to get fat!" Yet who is overweight? Them..lol. Your best bet to convince your dad is to show him exactly how many calories walking on a treadmill burns then show him the cals of the food he eats and ask him to do the math.
As far as the bars go your lactose intolerant, how do I know? I'm the same. :p Make sure your Whey source is protein Isolate since it's much lower in lactose. Even better make sure your bars are listed as lactose free. Good luck. :fingersxd

Hm so lately i've been thinking and I think i have become very addicted to lifting, so much that I've been having thoughts of competing in the near future, like summer of 06 or something, you no an ameutur teen competition or something. I love to see how my body can change! I really do think i'm addicted now. Having this whole week off has been hell all i've thought about is lifting! AND....i've been thinking about joining the gym down the street, just more use of stuff ya no? But i don't think i will because i don't have the money nor the time to go so i know it would be a waste of my money. Having stuff in the basement has been great. Don't get me wrong i would LOVE to join a gym, but with school and homework i simply wouldn't have the time. But god i want to compete, or atleast have the body of a competitor - if that makes sense? Anyways will post diet later tonight

So got back in the gym last night and let me tell you, man was it "exciting" i was all pumped and everything, and to make it even better it was BACK DAY!!! i can not tell you guys enough how much i love working my back (atleast upper back) But yeah here it is:
Monday: Upper back/Biceps/Shoulders
Tbar Rows 3x12/10
Lat Pulls 2x12/8
Bent Rows 3x10
BB Curls 2x10
DB curls 2x10/8 (Each arm)
Military Press 3x10 :weight_li
S-Laterals 2x10 (Each Shoulder)

Wow working the biceps and shoulders on the same day as upper back really does a number on your biceps and shoulders (if you do those groups AFTER you've done the back) I like the feeling of getting ready to throw up though, so I LOVE THIS SPLIT!!! :zoom:

T bar rows - Went the heaviest i could go on these 45lbs plates and two 10's I felt the burn needless to say! Last set i could only get out 10. To be honest thought i orginally only do 10 reps but for some reason i just decided to go 12 I don't know why, just did.

Lat Pulls - Ehhhh wasn't feeling these at all, so i only did like 2 sets and on the last set i said **** it and got up and went to my rows...

Bent Rows - These felt good. Decided to change my grip and i it actually hit my lats better. So i think i'm sticking with this grip!

BB & DB Curls - I do these up against a wall to keep myself from cheating, it works, but uhh yeah my biceps were kind of fatigued from the back work which was good, extra little pump i think! But none the less, curls are curls right? Still boring as ever!

Military press - OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These burnt soooooo bad!! :crazy1: I honestly didnt think i was going to make all three sets. But i did. The last 3 or so reps of the last set i had to pause for a min but it was great!

S- Laterals - Well seeing as how my shoulders were already burning pretty badly, these burnt too, but not as much, atleast on the first set, last set i thought i was going to die!
Workout - 9/10

Diet:
Don't feel like posting it but it was on point
9/10 lol
