Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | So someone suggested I start a pregnancy journal... and I will, thanks EME ...So I took a 3 weeks hiatus from the gym. Hey I needed it! I seriously could not get up and go. :slapen: Who ever compared pregnancy fatigue to running a marathon was WRONG... It's way worst I started again on Sunday and did my lower body+ 20 minutes of cardio Boy am I sore now!!!! Monday I went to a prenatal yoga class, and slept like a baby afterwards Tuesday I did the upper body + 30 minutes of cardio I really have no strength compared to "before", and if you add the fact that I can't consume any product, inculding coffee, then you can understand my energy level is rather low! Am off for a good week!!

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 16 | Hi Josie! I was thinking about you yesterday and hoping your pregnancy is going well. I was really tired -- really tired -- the first trimester. Then I had energy like crazy from about 4 to 7 months. The last two months (plus 3 weeks for Brittany ), I just wanted to birth a baby. ![]() You're going to do great! I'm so excited for you. There's no better thing in the world than being handed that baby -- it makes the pregnancy/labor worthwhile. |

Thanks Hibby! I was soooo tired that my 3 weeks hiatus ended up looking like almost 2 months off minus a few days here and there!! But I am back! I'm 5 months along now and the energy is definitely there! I am not gaining too much (10 or 15 depending on the scale) but I gain all over, so I still don't look pregnant, just fat! Which is weird. The Uber good news is that here in Canada, the maternity leave is paid for a full year! so guess who's going to have time to have time to get back into shape ![]() (I actually have a comp scheduled 7-8 months after the baby is born) I'm aiming for the baby and the body ![]()

![]() That is awesome!!! I think our ladies here in the states only get 6 weeks of paid maternity leave.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 16 | I see a little belly! You look great, Josie! When I was pregnant for the first time, I felt like I didn't show much at all until after the 6th month. Then I blew up like the MetLife Blimp as Britto ended up weighing 9lbs, 2oz. It all went away in no time once the Amazon child came out. |

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | ahhh thanks! ![]() I feel like a ballon already, it's hard to see your body changing this quick but so unbelivably amazing at the same time! I had my sonogram yesterday and could see the baby so clearly It's a very emotional moment I just can't tell you the sex now because my hubby will only be home tomorrow and I want him to be the first to know! So after this sonogram I went home, put the doggy in his basket and went biking for 45 minutes. That was my cardio of the day.

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | hello hello! well a few weeks ago my fantastic husband has bought me a Schwinn cruiser Like this one, but for women and red & with a basket in the front for lil' Killer ;-) (he loves it!) http://www.schwinn.ca/Bikes/LRG_5Star.jpg I simply looove the retro look! So I decided to come to work with it, I used my car back from work, and followed the path I would take if I used the bike, it's between 7 and 10 km depending on which path I use, IE between 14 and 20 km daily. I thought i would be a great way to keep moving and have a daily dose of exercise. Guess what... 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for either one sunny day or one day where extreme heat warnings are not in effects!!!! I can't wait!! I slowly feel my muscle mass going away, and my belly growing, it's good though because now I look pregnant, I really popped in just 2 weeks! Oh and I forgot to tell you that it's a boy!!! I saw a HUGE penis at the sonogram (well according to my husband anyway!)I just hope I raise him well enough that he respects people around him and that he becomes a "natural" gym addict ![]()

Recipes: 0 Rep Power: 8 | hey all, ok I'm 7 weeks out now (keeping the fitness terminology going!) ![]() I've gained 30 pounds so far and lost muscle mass but less than I first anticipated. I'm very haapy with the way it's all going and pretty proud of myself. I'm extremely tired those days therefore decided to listen to my body and slow things down a bit. I'll keep you posted until the end! Can't wait to go back to my old self!

Just yesterday I had to take a nap after cleaning my room (WTF???!) I got to keeop my energy for a little someone and I think this is more than worth it!
