Default Yay, I have Scapulothoractic Bursitis!!!

Which is a fancy way of saying that I finally found out why my shoulder has been in chronic pain for the last 8 years. It started giving me problems when I was 14, but didn't start hurting full time till I was 16. My family doctor was just prescribing diclofenac for it, but that was like feeding cookies to a hungry tiger.

Anyway, my family doctor got the same problem a year ago, saw an orthopedist for it, and got a shot, now he's good as new.

I got the shot, but I'm only about 60% better. He wants me in physical therapy 2-3x a week for the next 4-6 weeks. I'm taking 14 credit hours, I'm a senior at Miami of Ohio, I'm working one full time job and one part time job, and I still can't make ends meet. I just had surgery two weeks ago and had another intense physical inconvenience pop up immediately after that, I just don't know how I'm going to do it.

My insurance will cover 10 visits, but it's subject to my $500 deductible and 70/30 coinsurance. I think I've just about satisfied my deductible already, and I've only been on the plan two months.

I think I'm destined to be broken for the rest of my life.

So am I but it givesme even greater pleasure knowing i have to work extra hard to maintain what others get normally. I guess a self satisfaction of accomplishment. Plus me and the doc are getting a great relationship.

Ya, I could probably care less about overcoming adversity. My doc and I get along quite well, but I think I'd still prefer to see less of him. Or for him to see less of me, one of the two.

Don't mess with my reality! This is my coping method and you're ruining it with logic and common sense.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.
